No pump. It has a 'lever' type top. You press one end with your thumb and the liquid comes out the other end.

Q: is refrigeration needed after opening?

According to the Monin website: DO MONIN FLAVORS NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED? Question Category: Shelf Life and Storage Almost all of Monin products do not require refrigeration. Refrigeration is recommended for Monin Desert Pear® Syrup in order to preserve its bright color. Monin Fruit Smoothie Mixes & must be refrigerated after opening.
