Soda-Pop Rockets: 20 Sensational Rockets to Make from Plastic Bottles

Great summer fun with my kids! They have become the hit of the park every time we build a new rocket and take it out for test flights. Some of the rockets are a bit much for my kids right now, but that just ensures we'll be building new rockets in the coming years!

The concept of the water rocket is great. All the boys (ages 5 to 70) loved playing with the bottle rockets. The basic launcher was inadequate to launch the rockets. Once the (big) boys built a heavy duty launcher, it worked great. It is something the younger boys can enjoy without a lot of adult supervision. It drew quite a crowd. The birthday boy thinks it was a great gift - 'I love it,' he says.

My little boy loves this book and carries it with him. Doing the experiments are fun and the directions are pretty good. We are excited to try the more advanced rockets. We also got an Aquapod launcher to go with this. Good fun for big and little boys :).

Nice book for the kids (big & little) detailing soda bottle rocket and launcher construction. Only complaint is the book binding tore apart from the pages on the first opening.

This was given as a Christmas gift along with the Nylon Parachute for Water or Model Rocket. My Grandson can't wait for better weather so he can try some of these suggestions.

Bought this book to teach my nephew, how to build water bottle rocket. The author has conveniently left out of the book as to how to make a launch stand with the coat hangers. When I ordered it, it was in the section of how to make your launch stand with coat hangers. When I received the book, there was nothing in the book. I think, it's one way to deceive the public by showing some thing that is not there to begin with. The author shows how to make multiple bottle rockets, but doesn't even say how much water to put in the bottle and how much air pressure to use for launching. This is nothing but a deceptive practice. Even on the cover page, he is showing his 5 gallon water cooler bottle take off to show us how well it works. In side the book, he doesn't even tell you as to how much water pressusre to use to launch this water cooler bottle.I do not recommend any one to buy this useless book which gives lot of colored picures and no important information about launch stand and the amount ot air presuure to use.

My son loves this book. So does my dad. We haven't tried building the models yet, but love reading the notes on the different models and seeing the photos.

Entertaining book, good diagrams. I enjoyed the testing, giving the pros and cons of each rocket. Very good. Value fr money
