This is a battery operated train with a cement mixer and coal wagon. The wagon movements when the train is in motion is a nice touch. My 2 year old loves his "cement train". The train moves a tad bit slow and the lights are not very obvious on the yellow train. The train can go forward or reverse. The magnet means it can be a mix and match with other trains that have magnet connectors and the construction is sturdy.
