This was easy enough for me to put together myself (I did use a hammer. I’m only moderately handy, my husband is the handy one). It is sturdy enough that I have no safety concerns. I came back a year later to purchase another for our second child. I noticed the previous reviews weren’t great so thought I’d add my good experience.

We were disappointed in the quality of the chair.  It was difficult to get several of the screws in.  Once in, the "buttons" provided to cover the screws did not fit properly.  Many were too small and had to be glued in ordered to stay.
