Breathable Ultra 2-Stage

I purchased this for my, soon to be, granddaughter to arrive! Her big sister is still in a crib (18 months old) so we had to do another complete nursery. We purchased the exact same mattress. It has served our first granddaughter well for 18 months now. I would say it is on the pricier side but quality, comfort and durability are top for us! Worth every penny. The mattress breathes, stays cool and is very comfy!

My baby enjoys it so I have no complaints. No smell when arrived. Thick and seems durable. We have been using it for a few months on the newborn side and so far so good.

Soft, comfortable, safe, and I love that it is breathable and washable and also made in the USA. I hemmed and hawed over crib mattresses, and decided to buy a cheap IKEA crib and go for a fancy non-toxic mattress. So far we have been very pleased with it. I hope to get lots of use out of it, next as a toddler bed, maybe a future baby, and then resell.

After extensive research, we went for this mattress, and we are so pleased that we did. It is thick and substantial feeling and looking - visually much better quality than others we had seen in the baby stores. My son starting constantly rolling onto his stomach at just 2.5 months but he couldn't roll back. He is in the 90th percentile for height so our pediatrician said that he needed to be out of his bassinet and into his crib. Seeing him sleep face down (and when he flipped him back over he would simply roll back onto his stomach, awake or asleep) was scary at first but knowing that he could breath through his mattress was an enormous comfort. Buying everything you need for a new baby is expensive and daunting - the mattress is not where you want to cut corners - get this one, trust me when you wake up at 3am to check on your baby and they have planted themselves face down, you'll be glad you did!

I love that this mattress for all the listed features i.e. organic, quality, etc. etc. but mostly i loved the fact that it comes with a BREATHABLE quality mattress cover. Put my mind at ease with any suffocation concerns and that was most important.

We just started using the mattress. We switched from a sealy mattress that was way too soft for our baby and would sink when we would lay him down. It's only been a couple of days but so far we like it. It is very firm and it has two sides: Infant and toddler. I like the quilted cover that it comes with. The material is very soft.
