Product description Kenwood Excelon KFC-XW1200F The Kenwood Excelon KFC-XW1200F 12" "flat" subwoofer produces serious bass output in the hard-to-fit areas of your compact car or truck. And this shallow-mount sub measures less than 4" deep, so you can get creative with your installation. The carbon-glass fiber cone employs a honeycomb pattern to deliver quick response in demanding conditions without flexing. The beefed-up rubber surround maintains control over the cone, minimizing distortion caused by resonance. A die-cast aluminum basket offers a rock-solid housing with plenty of venting to keep the heat down. The silver-plated push terminals offer convenient connections and provide excellent signal transfer. Flat Subwoofer with Carbon-Glass Fiber Cone The Kenwood eXcelon flat subwoofer design is approximately 40% slimmer in height than a standard subwoofer. This makes them ideal for installation in the tightest of spaces such as behind or under the seat of a pickup truck. The eXcelon flat woofer uses a carbon-glass fiber honeycomb cone which allows the woofer to be efficient and durable at the same time. Rubber Surround & Super Linear Spider The Kenwood woofer features a smooth linear rubber surround for added durability and increased excursion resulting in exceptional deep bass response. The flat woofer utilizes a super linear spider for maximum control over the woofer's linear motion to improve overall sound quality. Spring Terminals & Concealing Ring The flat woofer utilizes a pair of silver-plated spring terminals on one side of the woofer for connection to your amplifier's speaker wiring. The spring terminals will accept up to 10 AWG speaker wire. The eXcelon woofer comes supplied with a removable, rubber concealing ring used to hide the woofer's mounting screws for a neat and professional looking installation. The concealing ring increases the top mounting height to 1".

I have it hooked up to a Planet Audio 1500.1 Anarchy amp in a sealed QBomb bed liner truck box setup in a ZX-3 focus and it sounds phenomenal!! I really don't know why you would want 2 of these when 1 does the trick. I have an extensive playlist so no matter what you play, you won't be let down! I PROMISE! It is totally worth the $$. P.S. I don't use voice coils so I don't know how they hold up but it slams!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don’t let the shallow mount speakers make you think they’re are light on bass, they’re not!

Shallow mount in a narrow wedge shaped box that fits my Toyota Tundra, the 4’ long box had cutouts for the two Kenwood 12” subs that are powered by a 800 WATT RMS Kicker amp that’s under the rear seat and I think they sound great and the subwoofer box fits behind the rear seat with the seat still far enough back that my 6’-9” can still have 4”from my knee to the back of the seat in front oof me. I bought 4 more to use to replace the rotted rubber surround 12” woofers in all four of my ESS AMT 1b home speakers which had a price of Only $139 per woofer but went out of stock. They remained unavailable until about a month ago and now the price is $189 each, both woofers are 4ohms so I will be using the Kenwoods after a small modification on the four speakers and I think they will sound great. I’m very happy with these Kenwood drivers.

Wow! What an awesome sub! I have it hooked up to a Planet Audio 1500.1 Anarchy amp in a sealed QBomb bed liner truck box setup in a ZX-3 focus and it sounds phenomenal!! I really don't know why you would want 2 of these when 1 does the trick. I have an extensive playlist so no matter what you play, you won't be let down! I PROMISE! It is totally worth the $$. P.S. I don't use voice coils so I don't know how they hold up but it slams!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Won't fit 11" box hole.

I haven't tested them yet so I will update this when I do but it will not fit in a standard 11" hole. I'm going to try to router it and see if it will fit. My other 12" subs fit fine so not sure what the issue is.
