It's great for the lake!

I bought this for my lady on Christmas. The deal was outstanding! Almost half off the original price and well worth it. It detects very well and comes with tools such as a shovel to help your journey. A kid could assemble this detector. You can adjust for height of different people. Very good beginner detector as well as serious detectors. Tested on multiple items and it never failed. Screen is perfect in size. Comes with headphones. Only thing I had to purchase separate was the pinpoint detector. Which I found on Amazon for a great price. Also has a carrying case. I love this device but most importantly my lady loves it. Item arrived on time and everything works great. I’d highly recommend people jump on this deal. I paid just over $100 for a $200 item. Jump on this if it’s still on sale. Also forgot to add the strap for your arm. It lessons the strain on your arm while using. We can’t wait until spring. Thank you Amazon for offering such a great deal in these hard times. I wish my video I took of her opening this gift was smaller so you could see the look on her face when she opened it.

The quality is just ok. We used this metal detector at the beach but didn’t find anything. We live an hour and a half away from the beach so we won’t use it all the time. We did find a lot of nails and coins in our yard though. Someone may have gone over the area at the beach too many times for us to find anything. It was a small park and not the area where more ppl frequent. Metal detector people maybe, not beach goers. This was a gift to my husband but I’ve used it more than him at this point.

My 10 year old got this for his birthday! It is easy to use and super light! It’s a fun and inexpensive way to try metal detecting as a hobby!

I haven't been able to find anything. Alarm always going off no matter what surface. Instructions are abysmal . The unit itself was easy to assemble, sturdy, and packaged well. I waited too long but I sincerely wish I had returned it.

I really wanted to like this metal detector, and to be fair, the hardware itself may actually work reasonably well for the price. The biggest problem is that the instructions are extremely poor and make the product frustrating to use right out of the box. The manual gives only very vague descriptions of the controls and display. The digital screen contains far more symbols and indicators than what is explained in the instructions, and there are no proper illustrated diagrams showing what everything means. Instead, the manual mostly relies on short text descriptions that leave out important details. For example, the NOTCH mode is supposed to help filter and identify different metals, but the instructions never clearly explain how to actually configure or use it in practice. The detector also appears to require some tuning or adjustment for accurate results, but the setup process is barely explained at all. During testing, the detector repeatedly indicated metal on a wood floor with cement underneath where there should not have been detectable targets. Maybe this could be corrected with proper calibration, sensitivity adjustments, or better understanding of the settings — but without decent instructions, there’s no reliable way to know. This product feels like it was released without a beginner-friendly manual. A metal detector with multiple modes and settings absolutely needs clear illustrations, real examples, and step-by-step explanations. Without that, even a potentially decent detector becomes difficult and frustrating to use. If the manufacturer improved the documentation and included a properly illustrated guide, this could probably be a much better experience. Right now, though, the lack of usable instructions makes it hard to recommend.

The Sunpow Metal Detector for Adults Professional is one of the best metal detectors I have ever owned. Living close to the beach, I have owned many metal detectors, most were just toys compared to the Sunpow. Most metal detectors in this price range are merely toys, without the advanced features of this one. The assembly was really easy, taking less than 5 minutes. All the pieces are well made and went together without any tools. The build quality is good, with none of the plastic burrs and tags that you often see on similar products. The pole length is easily adjustable so treasure hunters of various heights are still comfortable using it. The display is large and easily readable, which is great for a guy like me that wears bifocals. No squinting, just good readable text and numbers. And the display has a backlight for those warm summer evenings where you just want to walk along the beach as the sun goes down. The search coil is waterproof so you can’t damage it if you ware walking along the shore and a wave hits it. I like the handgrip as it is well balanced and doesn’t tire out your arm during an afternoon of searching. I personally tested it with various coins and the display is accurate, if it says 5c then you can be sure it’s a nickel, 25c is a quarter, 10c and 1c a dime and a penny. This is a great feature when scanning a busy beach, since with other detectors I’ve had, much of the time was spent digging up bottlecaps or similar. The amazing thing is that most models in this price range get you the detector, and that’s all. The Sunpow has a really nice carrying case, a nice set of headphones, and a great collapsible shovel with its own nice case. It comes with batteries, so you don’t need anything else to get started on your personal Treasure Hunt.

Ne semble pas précis car il sonne pour tout et rien .même en jouant avec les réglage il ne détecté pas toujours des objet que j ai moi même cacher pour tester.

Works well, great price. I got this for my son and we tried it out - everywhere it beeped there was some form of metal type thing. Nothing good, but shows that the product works well- recommend
