12V Car Antenna Booster with Hidden Antenna, Antenna Amplifier | Enhacnce FM AM Radio Signal

I’ve had an issue with getting stations in my 2005 Subaru for 2 years. I did all I could to improve and rectify issues I had with a pinched cable to improve radio quality to only gain a little better signal. This is a complete game changer. It took ten minutes to install just the booster and I went from four clear channels to over a dozen. This has been a Great buy!!! The antenna that comes with the booster stinks, I compared it to the stock antenna and it was terrible. Yes I know you have to connect it to power and I had it connected to power, it still was really bad. If you need a booster to get better radio signals do not look any further, this is the booster for you. If your looking to replace your antenna and though the added booster would be good find a different antenna but this booster is Great! Thankfully I only needed the booster to get the radio clarity and signals I needed. The antenna went in the trash.

this product no work like is supposed to work, if you want to waste your money the only thing that you need to do is buy it, bad reception is a must in this thing, the installation was ease but was a waste of time because no work like it said, I think is too expensive for what it's does, absolutely nothing

This antenna booster is a package deal containing an actual antenna booster and also an electric antenna that can function in place of a factory antenna. Two separate items that can work together but you may not need both. First I hooked up the booster to my stock antenna. I live in a rural area not close to a big city and I went from 2 stations to 8. I felt that to be a vast improvement. Secondly I hooked up the electric antenna in place of the cars factory antenna to see if it could out perform a factory antenna. It performed equally to the factory antenna in conjunction with the booster so that is acceptable. The electric antenna included could replace a factory antenna that is beyond repair or for a custom car where you don’t want an antenna showing but I just needed the booster and I’m happy with it. I don’t leave lengthy reviews usually but I could tell some of the bad reviews on the product were a lack of understanding the product.

it seemed to not have all the parts to the unit there was two wires that seemed to go to nothing and was dangling to nowhere I didn't get what I was expecting for reception need to give more info on how to install

Replaced my OEM head unit with an android. The radio was good but had static. Bought this hoping the boost will make the channels clearer. There are 2 items in this package and use the one that will suit your need. Installation was a breeze. I did notice my favorite fm station sounded clearer(I think) but other stations didn't make a difference. I have not try any AM yet. Don't expect this to make all your channels clearer (my case anyway) Giving 3 stars. Maybe I was expecting this to magically make all my channels non static. Not sure if it made much difference for me it but left it on

I was deeply disappointed when the product arrived with no instructions. It is a simple design but my issue is the antenna, and when to deploy it. Even a card with a website would have been nice.

I have had signal issues in my area (DMV) along with having a stubby type antenna on my Jeep.... I recently changed my radio to a double din; I added the antenna booster and WOW what a difference! I get many more stations than expected and works super well with my new radio. Highly Recommend.

The custom autosound mfg. ANTUV-HIDEAWAY antenna has no amplification components on the circuit board. I tested it into the front end of my Ham rig which tunes down below the AM Broadcast band up into the VHF region. When I saw no improvement in signal strength, actually no signal, I opened it up to look at the circuitry. See the attached picture. There are no components on the other side of the circuit board just for info. I also put a RF signal into the input point on the board on the right and probed with my Oscilloscope throughout the circuit board pads from a commercial RF generator. There was no Radio frequency signal beyond the junction with components where the lower red wire comes into the circuit board. There was a spot on the left circuit board where a surface mount transistor could have been mounted but there was no sign of one ever being soldiered on the pads. The other antenna preamp did not noticeably amplify signals in the AM broadcast band. Usually signals for a broadcast receiver might be in the microvolt or greater region. I hold a commercial broadcast license and worked in AM-FM and TV broadcasting. To get a signal to the output plug I had to drive the input into many millivolt to volt level and the output signal was not linear in fact distorted. What I tested here is headed for the garbage can. If the manufacture wants to send me another circuit I will test and give a truthful comparison of db gain. These two amplifiers are not what was advertised from the way I read in the Amazon ad.
