Wow. What a change this has made for my macro photography! I have tried several solutions, but they all had their problems. This allows multiple flashes at whatever angle you wish (I got two sets, so have four flashes). The diffuser is a bit small and close, but that is easily remedied by using a small loop of translucent plastic to give a bigger apparent size in the target image.

It came with multiple adapters to fit various lens threads, and a whole bunch of colored films for the diffusers. Setup was super simple and worked right out of the box with my Godox Trigger. Definitely a good bang for the buck!

Initially I had trouble to set it up with Raven FusionTLC and then I emailed FusionTLC about the situation. Jim with FusionTLC walked me through in the email as to how to go about setting up this flash system with Raven. Many thanks to him!! It definitely works with Raven now!!

I used this flash for Macro shots in Costa Rica on Bugs, Frogs, Snakes and Lizzards.

Fantastic flash system paired with the wireless receiver for macro photography. Flash is consistent and well balanced and even across the 1:1 ratio of macro shots. Battery life is pretty weak but USB-C charging refreshes it relatively quickly!

I have been interested in macro for a long time but have struggled with lighting. I saw this reviewed on a Youtube channel and immediately ordered this set. The packaging is great and the system is easy to setup and use. I have since added a third unit for more versatility and I expect to add a 4th before too long. Being able to expand the kit over time is a great feature. The integration of these flashes into the overall Godox family is also a huge plus - I have amassed 4 strobes plus these units and have been able to use them all together without problem. I really, really like that Godox have built out their own ecosystem and it is great to know that I could move to a new camera system and would only have to buy a new controller to be able to keep using my (rapidly expanding) family of flash units. Note that you have to already own one of the Godox flash controllers (I have the X-Pro for my Fujis) or buy one in addition to this kit.
