Beware! This is the most additive food on the planet!
More than delicious, itโs simply additive! I was told jar would have to be heated & stirred because the oil might separate out & the solids would be hard, but my jars were very soft, spreadable and mixed from the get-go. The taste is sublime, with a lovely sweet finishing note. The mouth-feel is lovely. So far Iโve only eaten this by the spoonful(s) straight from the jarโฆ such a treat!*Update* I said it came soft and mixed (it arrived during very warm weather), so I just left it on the kitchen counter. Then the weather turned cooler and the oil did separate out a bit and the product stiffened up. I put the whole jar in the microwave and very briefly warmed it up so I could stir the oils back in. After that Iโve kept it in the fridge. Yes, it gets very hard that way so I have to either chisel it out with a knife or bring it back up to a warmer temp before spooning out. Yes, a little bit of a hassle but on the plus side it slows down my consumptionโ I was going thru the jar at an alarming speed before I started keeping it in the fridge!

Yummy and some practical advice
So my Coconut butter came and was wrapped securely in bubble wrap. But the container was still slippery, like it had coconut oil all over it (which it did). I don't know if it came from "my" jar or from other jars a the warehouse, but it was a little annoying. I opened it up and it was very hard on top and a little brown. Nothing to worry, I figured. I put the jar in some hot water and let it soak for a bit and then when I opened it, it was very liquid for the top half of the jar and still solid at the bottom. I tried stirring it up to see if I could get it all to mix, but I really could not easily get the bottom stuff to stir.I thought about letting it soak longer and then I started worrying that maybe the lid wasn't on tight and I had let water into the product and that is why it was so liquidy. I took a little bit of the liquid and put it in the fridge to see that it solidified and I was not worried about having added water...it was just the oil. Still, it took until overnight before the product "set" again. I don't know what it is like half way down in the jar (where it was previously fairly hard), but the top half is now very easily scooped with a spoon.I mixed it up with some coconut oil and peppermint oil and honey based on a Nutiva recipe and made my own york peppermint patties (without the chemicals). They were heavenly. Not sure what else I will use it for, as I think regular coconut oil is more versatile. But even if I used this only to make peppermint patties again, it was totally worth it. I did try it on an english muffin. I think I prefer the taste of smart balance though.

Very Nice Quality!
Hi. First time buying coconut butter, it was called for in a vegan candy bar recipe (vegan snickers!). This product was of excellent quality, and superb flavor. Having purchased coconut cream and coconut milk in the past, we already expected to have to work with this coconut product a bit before using, i.e. warming/stirring, as all of these coconut products tend to separate in the jar or can, with the coconut fat solidifying on the top. Warming/stirring by partially submerging the jar in bowl of hot water, then warming/stirring again, took a little time, but ended up perfect. We did see a couple of reviews here on Amazon that had accompanying photos and concern of there being 'mold' on top. The photos looked just like the product we received, but what was on top of ours was not mold, just the separated coconut fat. Hope this review helps, we love the product, and will no doubt be purchasing more!

Not Nutiva, but good.
I used to buy Nutiva Coconut Manna and it definitely was the best, but they stopped producing it. I switched to this one, and even though the consistency is a bit harder, the flavor is the same. I like it! ๐

This is coconut butter.
Amazon loves my reviews, and they ask me to review everything I buy. They suggest adding videos as well, but this is coconut butter, that I bought for my souly, in a jar... no video necessary. I did try it once, disgusting. I imagine it tastes exactly like coconut flavored chalk. But my souly loves it, swears by it, and so we always have it in the house, Artisana Organics brand only she says (are there other brands? I doubt it, but that's besides the point). Final analysis, 5 stars out of 5, highest recommendation, seek no further, search no longer, THIS coconut butter is the answer to all your coconut butter questions ... according to my souly.

Tastes nice but I'm not sure what to do with it!
This was my first time using coconut butter so I have nothing to compare it to. I have made chocolate coconut butter cups that were quite tasty but very rich! The texture isn't as smooth as peanut or cashew butter so husband didn't like them (I did but I'd wished I'd made them smaller because of the richness). I used it this morning in porridge and it was nice. I think I'll search for more recipes to use it up and then I'll decide if I will buy it again. I think this is a great product for people on Paleo and keto diets.
