There's a micro-climate feature to the fabric that helps protect the skin, though there is occasionally a little bit of bunching. My sense is that they're wonderful for heavy bladder concerns, while those with bowel incontinence will also likely be satisfied given the snug fit reduces leakage in that area as well. This has become a regular subscribe n' save purchase for me and the only thing I've identified as an occasional negative is maybe 2-3 times I've had the expandex wing actually rip off.
