My son had a lung condition called bronchiectasis. Like the boy in this book, he did lung exercises (i.e. breathing treatments, inhalers, and used “the vest” twice a day). My son eventually had a lobe of his lung removed. Through determination, he built his fitness back up and was thrilled when he made the travel soccer team last year.
