Did I ever think I would be reviewing a toilet seat? No, but I had to on this one. AMAZING. The instructions are a bit hard to figure out, but once installed, I realized I had been over thinking it. Just lay all the pieces out, compare to instruction sheet, and go step by step. On taking it out of the packaging, the weight is heavier (not so much that it's hard to install) and it feels solid and high quality. It has small bumpers on underside of lid, is flat and heavy weight so that you can actually sit on it closed if you need to, and soft closes very smoothly. All of this is important, because if you've shopping for soft close toilet seats in stores, they are all flimsy and have so many nooks and crannies they are impossible to clean. This toilet seat has eliminated most of those stupid nooks and crannies. On to the feature they advertise most, removing the seat from the bowl. The flush mount button is easy to push and the seat comes off very easily. For cleaning, it has such a clean line design, I've found I don't really need to remove the whole seat to clean it, but it's there if you want it. On the hinges and bolts, it has a silver metal cover that looks good, and on cleaning around that, **best part for me**. On my previous soft close seats, fluids would build up under the hinge covers and when cleaning solution got under the covers, it would cause the fluids and cleaning solution to seep out and it's a never ending chore to keep mopping it up. Not on this seat. The hinge assembly has rubberized stability pads instead of those nasty paper ones, so cleaning solution doesn't get soaked into it and reactivated. Trust me on this, the price may seem high, but it's really only maybe $20 more than you'd spend on a low quality home improvement store seat, and the features and design of this seat are completely worth it. There's more on how much better it is to clean, but I stated most of them. And once it's in place, the peace of mind on stability and quality for you and loved ones is priceless.

This is the best product of its type. Worth every nickel. Sturdy as all get-out. Easy and quick to remove for regular cleaning. Easy to install. Very satisfied with the purchase.

If you’re reading reviews, ignore the less than 5 star reviews! This is super easy to install and works great! The plastic white is beautiful! No wood to crack, hold stains or chip off! The one click button to remove the whole seat for cleaning is absolute genius! If you have always hated the way the crack between the lid and the seat is impossible to clean, you are going to LOVE this feature! Just click, lift, and clean it in the tub! I don’t know why no one thought of this before! BUY THE SEAT! You won’t regret it! If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

I got the round size and I’m physically extremely weak. So most toilet seats in the market, I can’t install due to needing a lot of upper body strength to screw the sucker from the bottom. I tried 2 other ones, both were impossible for me. I used a hammer to hammer the rubber frame into the holes, and the metal washer was easy to hold in place using a wrench while I tightened the screws from above. No wiggles, just perfect. I love the button release to make it easily removable for cleaning. I love that it’s a lightweight seat and I don’t have to use up all my strength to carry it, but beware it is an extremely lightweight seat. I’m guessing that’s probably why it’s a frequently returned item but that works out in my favor. I care for the strong hold, not for its weight. But I removed 1 star due to its price. It’s expensive for an extremely lightweight / possibly plastic seat. The others are extremely heavy and are much cheaper in the market. Begs a question if the cost is due to the easily accessible washers 🤷🏽‍♀️… But after having tried 2 others, this one saved my life.

This elongated toilet seat fits my Kohler toilet perfectly. My husband installed it in a few minutes. I like that the seat isn’t split in the front. It’s very sturdy and shiny. It looks nice in my bathroom. The way it fits onto the seat is different than the screw on type, but I really like the way it looks. It’s also a soft close and works great. It looks custom and better than the one that came with my Kohler originally. Kohler is a fairly expensive brand and this toilet seat looks as upscale as my toilet. Look at my pics to see how pretty it looks where you attach it to the toilet. Never thought I’d call a toilet seat pretty, but it’s shiny and pretty.

This seat is very sturdy and comfortable. It`s got the quiet closure, which is nice, especially in the middle of the night. I love that it has the metal hinges; NO more slipping around! I think it`s pretty nice for the fair price.

Very easy to install and allows for adjustment to achieve perfect fit. Nice quality materials too. Highly recommend. Bought several others for the rest of the house.
