Hibbent Premium Elongated Toilet Seat with Cover(Oval) Quiet Close

Did I ever think I would be reviewing a toilet seat? No, but I had to on this one. AMAZING. The instructions are a bit hard to figure out, but once installed, I realized I had been over thinking it. Just lay all the pieces out, compare to instruction sheet, and go step by step. On taking it out of the packaging, the weight is heavier (not so much that it's hard to install) and it feels solid and high quality. It has small bumpers on underside of lid, is flat and heavy weight so that you can actually sit on it closed if you need to, and soft closes very smoothly. All of this is important, because if you've shopping for soft close toilet seats in stores, they are all flimsy and have so many nooks and crannies they are impossible to clean. This toilet seat has eliminated most of those stupid nooks and crannies. On to the feature they advertise most, removing the seat from the bowl. The flush mount button is easy to push and the seat comes off very easily. For cleaning, it has such a clean line design, I've found I don't really need to remove the whole seat to clean it, but it's there if you want it. On the hinges and bolts, it has a silver metal cover that looks good, and on cleaning around that, **best part for me**. On my previous soft close seats, fluids would build up under the hinge covers and when cleaning solution got under the covers, it would cause the fluids and cleaning solution to seep out and it's a never ending chore to keep mopping it up. Not on this seat. The hinge assembly has rubberized stability pads instead of those nasty paper ones, so cleaning solution doesn't get soaked into it and reactivated. Trust me on this, the price may seem high, but it's really only maybe $20 more than you'd spend on a low quality home improvement store seat, and the features and design of this seat are completely worth it. There's more on how much better it is to clean, but I stated most of them. And once it's in place, the peace of mind on stability and quality for you and loved ones is priceless.

Love this so eat to pop off. Just had some issues getting it on at first. It’s definitely a very slow close/soft close. I got the elongated and it fits perfectly. We’ll see how it holds up.

This toilet seat looks good and functions well. One of the issues that people downgraded it for was the slow close. It definitely closes slowly but that's not an issue for me. Another complaint I saw was difficulty in installing. I agree the instructions are not very clear but once you get past that, the installation is simple enought. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it seems somewhat flimsy. Maybe it's just me because this is the first seat I've gotten that's not wood core. Because it's all plastic it seems like it might not hold up well but that remains to be seen. It is comfortable and it looks good so I'm hoping it'll last a long time.

This seat was a very simple install (for my nephew lol). It’s very stable. It wipes cleans very easily. And it’s actually comfortable. That last point was not something I had taken into consideration when purchasing. The seat is molded with a nice curve that that’s, well, comfortable.

I found, after the fact, that the right post NOT attaching to the seat is a common defect with their product. And YET, they had the temerity, after I clearly detailed the two problems with the seat, to ask me to make a video they could review. I followed up after sending the requested video and they said, "Dear Customer: We are deeply sorry for the problem you encountered. We have received the video you sent and learned the actual situation from it. The reason for the problem is that there is not enough space between the toilet seat plate and the toilet water tank. You can try to move the base of the cover plate as far as possible in the opposite direction from the water tank." It's an American Standard toilet for God's sake and they're blaming the lid not staying up on the toilet, all achieved with 3rd grade writing and poor grammar. And they didn't even mention the main cause for my inquiry, that of the seat failing to attach to the steel stud. And at that point, their customer service was complete. I bought this same toilet seat 14 months ago and it serves us well and is of a significanly higher qualilty. In short, don't waste your time on this "new and improved" product or these people of low repute. You'll see the same complaint in quite a number of 1 star reviews.

Best solid mount toilet seat ever. This should be the new standard for toilet seats. The seat it self is very sturdy, and if you are looking for one that can hold up to 6'2", 275 lb plus people, look no further. The most impressive is the mounting system. Very easy to install, yet very sturdy & stong, no weak plastic wing bolts and hinges

This seat is amazing ! So comfy, great quality and was easy to install. Also super easy to clean I was worried when we first got it it didn't have the slow close but once installed it's perfect for the slow close.

Great toilet seat, good value. Soft closing feature is helpful. Installation instructions were not good for me. I tried to youtube it, but nothing specific to this toilet seat brand and screws/nuts included. Eventually i figured it out, i "think"....Other than a less than desirable instruction sheet, I would recommend this to you. It doesn't wiggle! It has a nice stainless steel disc that fits over the prongs, adding a little bit of shiny bling to the toilet seat. Easy to remove for cleaning; I put it in the dishwasher and do a steam cycle!

Excellent quality. Works well. Easy to install. I purchased this product in Sept 2025 for $80.99. I would like to purchase a second one but see that the price is $94.99. That is an 18.5% increase over a 4 month period.
