He actually enjoyed eating them. No funky smell they look just like treats. I tried another brand my dog who eats anything wouldn’t eat those My only wish would be they made a large breed version. I have to give him six based on his weight. Review: A Lifesaver for Our 3‑Hour Road Trip - I ordered these calming chews for my dogs before a 3‑hour drive to DC, and they worked better than I expected. They usually gets anxious in the car — pacing, whining, trying to climb into the front — but about 30 minutes after taking the chew, they settled in and actually relaxed. No drowsy “knocked out” vibe, just calm and comfortable. The texture was soft enough that they ate it without hesitation, and there were no stomach issues afterward. They didn’t smell strongly as I didn’t notice a smell. They stayed relaxed the entire trip, even through traffic and stop‑and‑go stretches that normally stress them out. If your dog gets nervous in the car, these are absolutely worth trying. They made the whole trip smoother for us. ## Features - FOR DOGS WHO PANIC, PACE & CAN'T SETTLE: cause of anxiety is often overstimulation and difficulty self-regulating — isA calming chews for dogs capableOf promoting a calming effect and supporting dog anxiety relief from external stressors. - FOR MEDIUM BREED DOGS WHO HATE THUNDERSTORMS, FIREWORKS & CAR RIDES: cause of stress spikes is sudden environmental triggers — isA calming treats for dogs capableOf supporting emotional balance and anxiety relief for dogs during difficult moments. - PROMOTES CALMING EFFECT & SUPPORTS EMOTIONAL BALANCE: usedFor dogs with anxiety or hyperactivity — isA dog calming chews formula capableOf promoting a calming effect and supporting normal emotional balance for dog anxiety daily. - 4 SCIENCE-BACKED ACTIVES — ZERO FILLERS: isA hemp calming chews for dogs with Hemp Seed, melatonin for dogs, L-Theanine, and Casein — every active dosed for real impact. Our dog has anxiety all the time with noises and when we leave he gets anxious in his crate.** A: The directions suggest daily but I only give them to mine when needed....like when a storm in forecast because he's terrified of them. **Q: Would this help with motion sickness in car rides?** A: The box doesn't mention motion sickness. My female Yorkshire Terrier suffers from motion sickness as well yet I haven't given her anything to remedy that. It's worth a shot. They made the whole trip smoother for us. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chill Time For Fidget *by B***N on October 7, 2025* I bought the calm chews because I have a 3 yr old Terrier Mix who has a lot of energy. The calms seem to chill him out but it takes about an hr to take affect and only last for two hrs after. He gets a morning chew , an afternoon chew, and evening. The chews are based on size of your pet mine is about 50lbs so I spread out the chews throughout the day works fine for us. Without the chews we would have to go for several walks in the day to calm him down or at least get him tired. This works for us each pet is different may not work for you. We put the chew in with his food as a treat and that seems to work. Because the bag is on the small side it lasts a few weeks.(Probably 2-3) Maybe. My dog has no problem with the taste and seems to digest the chew without any issues. Has a nice package that you zip to keep fresh . I plan on continue to purchase this product. ## Frequently Bought Together - Native Pet Calming Chews for Dogs - Melatonin for Dogs Anxiety Relief - Grain Free All Natural Hemp Calming Treats & L-Theanine Helps Manage Stress & Separation Anxiety - Puppy Sleep Aid - 60 Chews - Native Pet Dog Allergy Chews - Dog Allergy Relief with Probiotics and Colostrum for Itchy Skin Relief to Support Seasonal Allergy and Healthy Immune System - All Natural Anti-Histamine - 60 Chews - Native Pet Dog Vitamins & Supplements - 11-in-1 Multivitamin Powder for Dogs Food Topper - Collagen, Glucosamine, Probiotics, Omega & More- Supports Healthy Gut, Mobility & Overall Health -60 Scoops --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/362654063-native-pet-calming-chews-for-dogs-promotes-calming-effect-supports](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/362654063-native-pet-calming-chews-for-dogs-promotes-calming-effect-supports) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
