Easy to hold, and awesome to slice tomatoes, I also use it for cukes and about everything. We are still on the same knife for three years now. Still as sharp as the day we got it. We have 2 that I bought last year, haven’t even thought about retiring the first one. **Q: What is the difference between the mfg cutlery knife ( 2 pack) and the single tomatoes slicing knife?** A: I'm not sure which knife you are calling the cutlery knife but the Tomato Slicing Knife has a curved blade and is serrated to help you not to squish your tomatoes when you are cutting them. **Q: Can You use these to slice Bread and cut steak** A: I think you could slice bread, but the curved blade would make it difficult to cut steak. It's a long slender blade, so I only have used it on tomatoes and occasionally on other vegetables. The blade allows you to cut thin slices of tomatoes without crushing them the way other blades do. **Q: Can you sharpen serrated knives with a regular knife sharpener and if not, how do you sharpen them?** A: I don't think so. The tomato knife has more of a scalloped edge rather than serrated. It is razor sharp and I don't think I will ever have to sharpen mine (drew blood more than once with just a light touch its that sharp. I use it mainly on tomatoes, onions, cutting veggies. I love mine, even bought more for myself and as gifts. This knife is so sharp, balanced and a pleasure to use. It cuts, not crushes soft produce and anything with a peeling. Thank you so much for offering this USA brand of knives that are so sharp and with double sided blades are great for us leftys. It is so hard to find good knives that work well for left handed people.
