STIGA Performance 4 Player Ping Pong Paddle Set

After reading hundreds of reviews, I settled on the Stiga outdoor table and I am not disappointed. I read many complaints about deliver, installation and product defects, so I felt compelled to write my review. Product arrived on time, delivery guys placed it were I wanted (it is a bit heavy), and the packaging is great. Very easy to put together. Table looks great and as very solid. Wheels are great when on concrete or smooth surfaces but probably won’t work very well on grass or gravel. The first few bounces of the ball do sound sort of hallow due to the surface material, but unless you are a pro, you get used to it in 5 minutes and don’t notice it afterwards. Other than the sound, the bounce is true and table plays great. If I had to give one complaint it would be that the packaging is so good that it took me longer to cut it up and dispose of it than it did to set up the table! Great table. UPDATE: table has been outside in hot sun and all elements for over a month and it still looks brand new!

Definitely needs 2 people to set up and review directions together but once done, it was fairly straightforward. Haven't played much but so far the table has been great. Just make sure when you are measuring out your space, you add an additional 5' behind each player and 3' on the sides. Love the color blue, feels sturdy and love how it can be folded in half for easy storage.

What a great purchase! 20% off on Prime Day. They said this would arrive “95% assembled,” but I had my doubts when a single flat heavy box arrived. But they were right! I assembled this myself, and it took about 15 minutes (would have taken half that with someone helping). Assembly was easy. Product arrived in pristine condition. Because I located it on uneven ground outdoors, I used some pavers and left over Sport Court pieces to level it out. The table consists of two completely separate sides that are then joined by the net assembly so it is important to get it relatively level. But it need not be exact-close is good enough. When installing the net, the table will level itself slightly, so it need not be exact prior to net assembly. The bounce on the table is great—perhaps those who thought otherwise are into the Forrest Gump level of professional table tennis? I purchased the Stiga outdoor table tennis rackets to use with the table. The only bad part of the whole process was that my dog ate the first ping pong ball we used less than 1 minute into our first game. This is a quality outdoor table that is not expensive and easy to assemble. It also looks great, and has a nice bounce. A joy to play. I am very happy about this purchase.

In chronological order - the boxes were delivered by a company called XPO. They didn't show up on the scheduled date - no phone call, no text, no email... nothing (XPO has very poor ratings online). Had to reschedule. Not a good start. The boxes were placed in our basement by two delivery guys - polite and professional. Solid packing - absolutely no damage to the table. It arrived in pristine condition. You need a scissors and knife to pry the pieces of the table out of the packing. Two boxes will be delivered - each containing one half of the table. Assembly took an hour with my wife and I working on it. The table is solidly constructed and the two halves are heavy. It's not a one-man job. You will need a wrench to tighten the bolts (not included). Instructions are printed like any other product that needs assembly - on cheap white paper, in black and white, in small font with pics that are not easy to make out (wish all companies would spend a little more on glossy paper / color print... assembly would be so much more easy / fun). The net was a little annoying to construct (again... subtoptimal instructions) - took a few minutes to figure out how it slides onto and needs to be secured on the plastic sleeve. Fortunately, there were only a few steps to assembling the table. The finished product looks beautiful. The paint job is perfect. You can tell by its look and feel that this is not a cheap piece of construction (and based on other reviews is quite durable - indoors or outdoors). It's got four levellers to make sure the table is flat and so that the two halves are perfectly aligned. It plays well - STIGA table tennis balls bounce perfectly and spin is transmitted from the racquet to the table very well. I've played table tennis for many years and I can't tell the difference between this table and a (wooden) indoor table. Outdoor models, based on my research, are supposed to be more durable and not have moisture related issues that indoor wooden tables can potentially develop. All in all, excellent finished product. Very happy with it.

After reading the negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised of the quality and condition of the ping pong table when it finally got here. I am not a ping pong expert and wanted a table for the occasional family and friend ping pong game. For the price this table surpassed my expectations. Table is well built and much heavier than I expected. The finish is beautiful and I would definately recommend. My only complaint was that when you place the order on Amazon you are presented with a delivery calendar where you pick a delivery date and time that is available. I picked the next available slot which was 2 weeks away. I received multiple delivery reminder emails and texts and arranged my schedule so that I could be home to accept the delivery. The day before I received 2 confirmations that delivery was planned for the next day. At 4PM the shipper called to confirm the delivery. I told them I was all set to be home the next day for delivery between 10 and 2 (which was the date and time all the emails and texts from Amazon had confirmed). The shipper said that the appointment Amazon made and confirmed with me has nothing to do with them and the next delivery available was 6 days later which was disappointing as I now had to take another day off the following week just to accept the delivery... When the table finally came the delivery was fine. The 2 guys were extremely friendly and they did call 30 minutes before they arrived and it was at the time the shipping company did set when they called.... Puttting together is easy... but is a 2 man job just because of the weight of the table. All in all I guess it could have been worse and now that table is set up it is really great!

2 people from Amazon delivered it. Box was a bit banged up. It’s heavy so we needed a dolly to move it from the front porch to the garage. It took about an hour to assemble. Not complicated and went together easily. Two corners we slightly bent. One was in the middle and a pair of channel locks (with padding) straightened it out. The other was on theoutside with a frame beneath and slightly turned up. A rubber mallet got it 90% back into place. High quality and I like that it’s not pressboard so we can take it outside if we want. The kids are now off the Xbox (for a bit!) and playing at least an hour a day. Which makes this a great value.

I am very happy with my purchase. This table was easy to put together, very quick , directions unnecessary. We put it under a gazebo to stay out of the rain , it still got wet plenty and held up nicely . It’s actually better than I expected and we had a very good summer with it . You can’t buy a cheap flake board table for outdoor use . This table is meant for outdoors and didn’t disappoint. Almost forgot the best part is how easy it is to fold and roll . It’s a space saver stored in our shed for the winter .

Name deceptive, no paddles included. The table is a ping pong table, not a ping pong paddle set. Set means a bundle when you're purchasing.
