Excellent travel steamer!
What an amazing steamer!!! We travelled all over Europe and the USA and never ironed anything. This steamer worked great!! It was a little bulky and just slightly heavy but completely worth it. The steam is very hot so use caution. I think that’s why it works so well. It also heats up super fast. However, Two things I would caution. 1. Do not overfill with water. It gets very hot and the water splashes if it is too full. Fill only to the max line. 2. When adding more water, turn off the steamer, unplug it and use a towel or something to take off the top steamer part. I did this as an easy way to refill the water.

Great for American Girl Dolls!
I bought this steamer for an unusual purpose, fixing doll hair, and It works great. I fix up American girl dolls and sometimes the hair needs to be straightened out after cleaning it or to restore it (like curls). The common method was using a brand new flat iron (since natural oils in human hair would ruin the wig and glue) or boil washing. This combines the process and makes it much easier to fix dolls. The steamer is smaller than I thought but filling up to the line I was able to fix two dolls with one tank full. I tried on two different hair types, one straight and one curly. On the straight hair I just gently steamed until I could brush through, the temperature wasn't too hot but enough to give the hair some shine. The curly hair I put in rollers and ran the steamer until the hair was damp enough to let set and cool and could remove the rollers. Both turned out great! If you're fixing up dolls with similar wigs and are worried about burning the doll with a flat iron or yourself trying to boil wash, this is a good alternative. It's easy to set up after reading the directions and filling, warms up nicely, and will dry quickly. The size was also easy to work with, I thought it was going to be bigger and harder to maneuver. Recommended.

Simple, Reliable Handheld Steamer for Quick Outfit Touch-Ups
I picked up this Conair handheld garment steamer to help with quick wrinkle removal before weddings and shoots. I’m often dealing with dress shirts, jackets, and outfits that get packed or hung in storage, so having something fast and easy to use has been really helpful. Right away, I liked how simple it is to set up. It heats up pretty quickly, which is important when I’m getting ready on a tight timeline. The design is lightweight and easy to hold, so it doesn’t feel tiring to use for short sessions. In use, it does a good job on lighter wrinkles and everyday fabrics. Shirts and dresses smooth out fairly easily as long as you take your time and move slowly over each section. It’s not the kind of tool that makes everything instantly perfect in one pass, but it does improve the overall look pretty quickly. The water tank is on the smaller side, which is expected for a handheld unit. It’s usually enough for a couple of garments, but if you’re steaming multiple items at once, you’ll likely need to refill it. That’s not a dealbreaker for me, but it’s something to plan for if you’re using it for larger jobs. For heavier fabrics or deeper wrinkles, it does take a bit more effort. You may need a few passes to really get things smooth, especially on thicker materials. But for quick touch-ups, it performs well and gets the job done without needing a full ironing board setup. Overall, this is a solid, no-fuss steamer that works well for quick prep before events or travel. It’s not meant to replace a full garment steamer, but it’s convenient, easy to use, and reliable for everyday wrinkle removal.

I will never iron again, at home!
This steamer is mighty, so easy to use and effective. I just hang my item from a hook on my bathroom door, and in a few minutes, my clothing item is looking fresh and wrinkle free. I really love this thing because i never have to bring the ironing table out. The steamer lives permanently on my bathroom counter, ready to go. The water well is small but does last for several items. And while technically, it is portable, i would definitely not call this travel size. I’m not sacrificing value suitcase space for this steamer.

Works well on layers of fabric
Works well. I had a costume with lots of layers I needed to iron. It came out beautifully. One notation, these are not allowed on cruise ships.

Very poor performance, very weak steam, worthless.
Very weak steam, right out of the box. No jets of steam, just slow unpressurized steam that rose vertically like smoke off a cigarette. Every so often it would build up a little pressure for 7-8 seconds, then the steam was unpressurized and back like it had been. Used distilled water, did not fill above line. The directions said it would heat up in one minute and run for about five minutes, but it took 10 minutes to produce any steam and after 30 minutes only about half the water had been used. Clearly the heating element did not get hot enough to produce steam at the desired rate. Worthless. Did not use for several months after purchase so return deadline had passed. Conair is a name brand and this poor performance was unexpected.

Works decently well
Easy to use and works okay? Some wrinkles are harder to smooth out and at first try it didn’t seem to work… but tried again and it seemed fine. Have used a couple of times on light dresses. Haven’t tried on any heavier fabrics yet.
