I’ve been coloring my own hair for about 20 years now and I typically do it every 2-3 weeks. I rotate between the platinum black and regular black colors. I’m naturally blonde so when my roots start to show in the slightest bit I hate it! This stuff is gentle and effective. Covers the gray hairs and makes my hair super soft. I really like the conditioner that comes in the box. No strong smell and the dye is easily removed off the skin.

Love this product! It’s safe on all types of natural color. The color last for at least two months!

The color is beautiful. The only criticism I have is that it should’ve come with a plastic cap and the after color conditioner should’ve come in a tube because the last bit of product would not come out due to the shape of the container. My hair felt really good afterwards and my ends looked as if I had just gotten a fresh haircut. However, my color was spotty because I didn’t use the second bottle I bought. I have long hair and thought I could stretch the colorant for my entire head with just one bottle. It just wasn’t enough to color my dark brown hair. But this was user error. I’ve seen a lot of negative comments about this product and I have a feeling the desired results were because of user error. Read and follow the directions people!

It's really tough to find this color in shops - so even though I had to wait a bit for it to arrive, it was worth it. I'm an old goth girl, this colors my greys, smells nice, isn't runny and thin. And I love the color - it's really a perfect black for when you don't want to do the blue-black.

I bought this product specifically because I'm pregnant and it's ammonia free. I will never buy it again. You should never have to shampoo your hair immediately after a dye...let alone having to shampoo it THREE TIMES. The oil in the dye is so thick that when I tried rinsing it, the water ran clear almost instantly, but I could still feel the dye everywhere. Eventually when I was making no progress, I shampooed it and applied the conditioner. Still, the dye was thick and greasy all over. I had to shampoo it again before I towel dried my hair. IT WAS STILL GREASY. It was so bad! I had to wash it AGAIN and finally thought I got it all...NOPE. I'm to the point of washing my hair with dish soap because this is horrible. I've been dying my hair myself for over 10 years and I've never experienced anything like this. Its like I dyed my hair with lard and topped it off with a butter finish. Literally, the only upside is that my hair is black now like I wanted. I will never buy this brand again.
