What's the difference between roctane gel and drink? I want to use for triathlons.

Roctane is GU's ultra Endurance line it has more electrolytes, salt amino acids, thing like that. So when your on the long haul you can replace all the things you lose when working. Regular GU has some of what Roctane has but not as much. The difference between a gel and the drink, is the drink is used for hydrating and the gel is used for fueling. This goes into your whole nutrition plan, how long do you need to fuel for, how much you will lose during any given event. These are the questions you'll need to ask yourself. One bit of advice I can give, make you really like the nutrition you choose, you will be more apt to use it. I use the grape flavor roctane. I krave it the longer I go. I started to use it when I was running ultra's.

Does this product stain tongue and teeth? I have a product i like a lot but its a bright yellow powder and stains my teeth...

It does not stain the tongue or teeth.

Is it appropriate for half marathon training or moreso for longer events?

They say after 30 minutes and longer but I use it whenever. Try it when you train and drink it during different duration or energy levels. It works differently for people and find out what works best for you.
