Well, that's the short version of my feelings for this book!Now, why is this book so awesome?First of all, as the title goes, the book is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Lakshmi. Who is she, her place and her relationship with other deities (Hindu and from other mythologies), how you can connect with her, her likes and symbols and how her devotees worship her.This is a modern guide, for people who are not necessarily close to the Hindu tradition but who feel called to approach Lakshmi. In these pages it is ever present the respect and care that Laurie Sue Brockaway offers to all faiths in her writings, I love that!It, also, has her trademark positive, modern woman centered perspective which makes these pages so easy to read and to come back to. I appreciate greatly it is a book written from a personal standpoint, from someone who has a close relationship with the goddess.

Love this book! Very helpful!! I have always felt a connection & said prayers to Maha Lakshmi. It is not a heavy read and I like that about this book. I have read a lot about Lakshmi but this book contains many wonderful suggestions that help bring Lakshmi into your daily life that are new to me!
