I had ordered one of these for my aunt after she mentioned she wished she could find the old potato peeler that she used to use. She loved it. When I was visiting her, I ended up using it when I was helping prepare dinner and realized it worked so much better than the using a paring knife as i wasn't wasting any of the potato i was peeling. I had started using the paring knife as i didn't like the heavy duty potato peeler I had. I ended up buying one of these for myself and I love it.

This peeler is fantastic. It fits in my hand comfortably and I believe it's rust resistant. I had 2 or 3 different peelers, some very, very old. But I bought a different type and it was awkward and not sharp. So I got tired of those and looked for one that looked like my originals. This one doesn't have color to match my kitchen, but who cares if they work, right? I most definitely recommend this!

Works perfectly with no frills. Simplicity is the best!!! I already have a similar/smaller version and wanted to add another one to my set of utensils. Love it!

The delivery of this item was perfect! And imagine my surprise when I realized it was exactly like the potato peeler I’ve had since my husband and I married over 50 years ago. The only reason I looked for and purchased a new one is because a minimal amount of rust had appeared on the cutting edges of the old one. I don’t think I’ll be using the new model for 50 years but I do appreciate the workmanship and look forward to using it!

This is the perfect peeler. The sides of the handle are curved, so it doesn't bite into your hand as you peel. It's nice and sharp, so you can peel quickly. These are my favorite types of peelers. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I would have prefered the eye-corer tip to have an edge. it does not. still it is better than the plastic eye-corers on the new style plastic based versions.

This peeler works very well, especially on potatoes. No problems, it just does its job well

Excellent peeler! Very sharp and sturdy. However they need to re think the packaging, it came in a box largeEnough to fit an encyclopedia!
