Plank Building Block Set - 150 pieces with Storage Bag & build guide

Bought this as a gift to my 9 yr old son and he enjoys playing this toy. I think this model is one of the better offers as a starter set since it comes with two loops which is the one that makes it exciting. There are no worded instruction manual for assembling the parts and it just comes with only a visual diagram. Assembly time takes about an hour to carefully put things together. There are no extra parts for the screws and beams; so you got to be careful not to break one of these plastic parts. Also, the kit should have come with more supporting pegs/beams to make the track less "shaky". Other than this, the toy is fantastic that even me has had a lot of fun racing with my son. You have to press the variable speed button about 90 % for the cars to successfully go over the loop. The turbo is too much power that it would send the cars out flying! But that's part of the fun, hehe.

My wife and I bought this for our Grandson for Christmas. My son and son-in-law were even more excited than our Grandson was, and had the track assembled in short order, but in their hurry to play with the track, hadn`t assembled the track completely, leaving off several of the small support pieces. Big mistake. They had trouble keeping the cars on the track. Once they realized the importance of the support pieces and they took the time to completely and thoroughly assemble all the pieces, the cars stayed on the track, they stayed on the loop with the turbo-boost, and in no time, the track and cars worked perfectly. The only downside was that the slot pin that connects the car to the track broke off on one car, but it was glued back into place, and everything works just as it is supposed to. Wonderful slot-car track for the price, and they all were very pleased.

This was purchased for my 5 year-old Grandson for his birthday. We started with just an oval track in order for him to get used to the pistol grip controls for speed. Within about an hour he mastered the controls so we created the double oval track as seen on the box. It has held up for four days of almost constant use. We just ordered the Lightning McQueen Carrera slot car for use with this product. We look forward to ordering additional track to complement the "Carrera GO" slot car racing set. Excellent value!

Gave it as a gift for my friend's son for his 5th birthday. I thought it will be for an older age group, but he loves it, his older brother who is 8 enjoyed it too. Both played with it for hours.

This product has given my family hours of fun. It was a great buy for the price. My only complaint and why it got 4 stars is after a while the cars metal connector that sits on the track to give the car electricity has a hard time keeping contact with the track. It's easy to fix though you just have to bend the metal cord on the bottom of the car back out so it makes better contact.

I found a great price on Amazon for this set over the holidays...my boys love these and like extra sets to add on. Of course I found little pieces all over the house, but that is typical for boys and any toy for little pieces! This allows them to be creative and use their imagination. Worked great for my boys since they are big video gamers and need some other sort of fun. I do caution families with little ones that like to put things in their mouths, or have dogs that like to eat anything found...these are easy to swallow.

Very high quality set of planks. Good craftsmanship and bright colors.

Bought this for a Christmas present for my 4 & 6 yr old, they both love it. Perhaps the only down side to it is that it doesn't have the most clear instructions, you sort of have to use the picture on the box with what little instructions that comes with it to put it together.
