Ordered these hoses to replace the ones on my Hynautic K6 Steering used to control a 1995 Mercury 115 HP outboard. Had to replace the fittings on the K6 to fit but once done it was easy to refill and purge the air out. The hoses were supple enough and did not cause any issues when I ran them from the helm to the transom. Water tested the boat and everything worked SMOOTHLY the way it should.

the threads on hose will marry to the fine threads on compression fittings
It was as posted. Note : the threads on hose will marry to the fine threads on compression fittings, not "NPT" threads. Just remove compression nuts and rings from 3/8" fittings and use the fine threads to do your plumbing/ run your lines..
