Hey Guys and Gals, Despite the Fact that I attended State Universities, always loyal to a State University, came across thisText from NYU in Manhattan.Very Good Solid Introduction for both Novice Students and Non -Finance Majors to receive a grounding inthe Intro. to Finance. Zvie Bodie does a fine Job at making the Chapters Real and Understandable and has some very goodCase Studies to supplement at the end of each Chapter. Wish the State Colleges and Universities would use some of the Texts that the Ivy League Institutions areproviding their Student's with.

While the content in this book seemed alright, my professor did not use it. So I sent it back. Although I probably should have kept it to further my knowledge in the subject. The book arrived in perfect condition. No complaints there.

No problems with product. Exactly what I wanted. used with no markings and all the pages. It arrived on time. Interesting book.

There are two hardcover versions of this edition available online. The other version has a slightly different cover, and is over $100.I had to get the 10th edition of this text for my investment analysis class, and I'm so glad I found this version because it's the exact same. Though the chapters are in a different order.

This textbook is fairly easy to follow with good examples and work problems. Each chapter contains sample questions with solutions at the end of each chapter. The flow is typical for a textbook and what you get out of it will often depend heavily on who teaches the class you purchase it for.

Got this for a class, and while it can be difficult at times, it's highly informative. Designed for use with instruction, but it is more or less worthwhile.

With over 5 years of buying accounting and finance textbook, this is by far the best one i've ever had. Comprehensive and simple.

After having taken many courses over many years, I find this to be one of the worst written texts I've ever had to use. The authors take pages and pages to develop their ideas, revising formulas over and over, making it difficult to figure out which are the correct ones. It leaves you with the distinct impression that they were trying to expand so much on a topic that it makes it irrelevant and leaves you thinking they just want to hear their own words. Then, when you complete a "concept check" as practice, they change the formulas yet again, leaving you wondering what you missed (of course, there's no point in trying to practice on the practice questions as no answers are provided, so you have no idea if you've done it correctly or not). The online content, for which you have to pay extra, similarly leaves out steps in calculations, and only provides 2-4 practice questions per chapter. It's also completely American, so not quite sure why the Canadian university I'm taking courses with chose it. Overall, even though I've taken a similar course through the CGA program, this text does not help with a good understanding of investments at all.
