When they arrived, they were safely packed in individual cardboard protectors. At first, I wasn't sure if they would comfortably fit my hand, as they're wider at the bottom than the top. The tops are a little snug around my medium sized female hands for washing, but not overly so and they are sturdy and handle the dishwasher nicely. The heft of the glass is solid so they are not prone to tipping. The glass color is an AMAZING cobalt blue, not an overlay that will wear off. Overall, excellent craftsmanship. This set has become our favorite go to water glasses in the cabinet. Thank you.
