AOMGA Compatible With Mac Book Pro Charger, Replacement 85W Magnetic 2 power adapter For Mac Book 13" & 15" & 17" (2012Late UK Plug)

We bought this as the lead to our original charger broke. Well this worked fine for a few days then today my wife pulled the plug out and it broke. As you can see from the photo the part in the wall detached from the main charger resulting in a dangerous health hazard. The prongs were exposed and could have killed someone if touched!! ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!

After one month the plug section detached from the square part. Unlike the Apple product, the plug does not slide into the square part securely. It appeared that they had been glued together, although I could not see any glue which is probably why they came apart. Very badly made product unlikely to last. I rarely send stuff back to Amazon but this is going back. Only positive is that mine fell apart within the one month return window.

This charger got so hot that it burnt my hand when I went to remove the magsafe connector. It was burning hot, so hot that the heat had transferred into the Macbook and visibly burnt the 5 pin connector on the laptop, no doubt causing permanent damage to components inside. It's frankly scandalous that something that claims to meet safety standards and clearly doesn't, or at the very least not consistently. QC must be non-existent with this company. This could have led to a house fire or a more serious injury. Not good enough. Steer well clear of this product!

I wrote to Amazon after delivery of my faulty power charger. It simply did not work from the moment I plugged it in, no lights came on, however 16 days on and I have not had a response back. I am very disappointed in both the faulty product and the poor response from Amazon. I suggest you don't take a risk with this product.

The charger itself works perfect practicality the exact same as the apple charger but those little clip things on the plug which you can pull out and use to wrap the cable round are a bit stiff. Also the cable is only around a meter long so you won’t get that far away from your main socket unless you have an extension cord. Overall though it’s great for its price and i’m really happy

Excellent! I've been using it for about a week with zero issues. Charges fast, it has an LED indicator on the brick as well as on the MagSafe connector, and it comes with an additional usb-c port (+ usb-c to lightening cable) to charge your phone! Overall, a great deal.
