Out of all the matcha I tried, this is really the best so while I cringe at the price, it's worth it to me. A lot of the others have that strong grass smell which sort of colors my taste buds as I'm assuming grass won't taste good. This smells like green tea to me so I can drink it without my sense of smell dicating what I think it'll taste like. This is ceremonial grade so it's what is used in tea ceremonies and taste great with just water.That being said if you are looking for a matcha powder for green tea lattes only and you don't intend to drink it tradionally (with just water), save yourself the money and get a lower grade. You can still use this for green tea latte but it's a lot higher quality than you really need.

This is the best matcha I have tried so far. I was not excited about the price at first, but I have had it for three weeks and it is still about half full. Therefore, I end up still saving a ton of money compared to ordering matcha lattes daily from any local coffee shops.This matcha has a naturally sweet flavor, it is not bitter at all. The matcha is bright green and super fresh. It has a lightly grassy, green tea flavor that you want with your matcha, but it is very mild and pleasant. The packaging keeps it very fresh as you can leave it in the tin, that comes with a plastic air-tight lid on the inside, and the tin lid on top. This protects it from sunlight as well as keeping a lot of air out.The matcha gives me a nice kick of energy but without the negative side effects caffeine can come with. I have really enjoyed drinking this matcha daily and will be buying this brand again. I like to make matcha lattes with this matcha using cashew milk. Simply soak 5-8 cashews in a cup and a half of water over night, then in the morning add 1/2-1 tsp. of matcha (to taste) with 1-2 tsp. of raw honey. Blend using a high power blender (I use the nutrabullet for a perfect single serving). Perfect! & you do not have to strain it because the cashews blend into milk without any residue. Much healthier than the coffee shop options! I definitely recommend this product.

Im glad I tried this. Just got my order yesterday and made my first cup. It’s very fresh tasting matcha. Grassy but not too bitter. There is some bitterness but coupled with a sweetness. When I opened it, the matcha was a bright green color. Expiration is listed as March 2024. Makes a very good cup of matcha latte. I would get this again since you get a large amount for the $50 that is paid.

For the money, it is exceptionally good! Smooth balanced, and refreshing!

After returning from Japan, I ordered several brands of ceremonial grade Japanese matcha to drink at home. When they arrived, I compared them side by side in a single-blind color comparison and taste test. I found the texture and color to be most pleasing: very fine with a more rich blue-green color than the others. In the taste test, Matcha Moon also came in first. The taste was full and somewhat sweet with very little bitterness. The amazing thing was that this was the Spring Zen matcha. Now I am very excited to try the top quality Pure Zen with more sweetness and without bitterness. If even the second grade version of this product beat the top grade of several other brands, I can't wait to taste the top grade!

Pricey, but worth it. Great taste with almond milk. Nice product. Love the name: MATCHA MOON - sounds dreamy, and tastes great prepared.Compared with Starbucks - mine is just as good and cheaper!

This matcha is extremely bitter. I am not sure how this reputable company that was well reviewed can pass this particular matcha off as ceremonial…or even drinkable. I am so very disappointed, as it was not inexpensive. It came in a bundle and the other tea, Gyokuro, was good. Very unhappy though, as I cannot return it.

This was my first time buying matcha to make at home. It’s not as sweet as when you buy it from cafes so keep that in mind. But i think this is really good on its own with some honey or even in a latte. Would recommend to someone who really likes matcha.

有機抹茶ということで購入しました。きめの細かいパウダーで香り高く、抹茶を点てた際の緑色が鮮やかで美しいです。味は甘み、苦味、香りのバランスが良く、とても美味しいです。オーガニックで安心していただける上に美味しくて期待以上でした！

The matcha is a vibrant green colour however it is a little clumpy compared to other matcha powers I bought in the past. It does not have a strong bitter taste. I would say it’s not the highest grade of matcha but it’s one of the better matcha in the market.

お茶も無農薬のを使ってますが、農薬が怖いのでお抹茶も無農薬❣️

お菓子作りに使うならいいかもしれませんが、抹茶を楽しむにはとても使えません。この上の商品の黒いラベルの方も試しましたが、それも使えません。金額が同程度の宇治のお茶会社のものと比べると（有機で）比較にならないほど質が低いです。苦味ばかりで使えないので、しばらく何かに使うかもと思って置いておきましたが、とうとう処分しました。大変にもったいないことでしたが。
