Moravian Light Tree Topper

This is a very cool star. I love how this looks and the even more beautiful meaning behind it. Assembling it took a little bit of time but not to bad. This has a plug on the end so if your using it as a topper for a tree then be prepared to plug it in somewhere on too if the tree unless you have an extension cord. So a pre-lit tree may not be a good option if you don’t have a plug at the top. Also, it does not go on a branch as you would with other tree toppers. It sort of sits on top of the branches, so may not be centered on the top of your tree unless you make the top of your tree flat to sit it on top.

I'm so surprised at all the negative reviews here that I thought I should write one based on my experience.I found this tree topper to be exactly right for my needs, and quite beautiful. I have this on a large Christmas tree outside, which is also covered with lights, and I love it. Yes, you have to put the star together, but it took me less than 30 minutes, and I am not at all technical or good at assembling from directions. I have not noticed the tabs showing through the star, but again, mine is outside and is most often viewed from a bit of a distance. I also love how it is secured onto the tree with the long pipe and the zip ties. We have had 30 inches of snow or more since the lights and star went up, and since then several storms with high winds, and the star has stayed secure.Very happy I purchased this one, it's both beautiful and durable for my outside tree.

Better be careful putting this together because the tabs break easily. Mine broke with the slightest pressure. Product no good for the money!

Assembly is required but I did it in less than 10 minutes. Assembly consists of putting together one “point” of the star with another and using a small plastic clip to hold the two together. Directions were easy to understand.For the price, this star looks great on the tree. I was concerned that the clips would be distracting but, honestly, when it’s lit, it’s not that obvious unless you’re really looking at it.

I got this for my mom, and she loves it on her skinny Christmas tree! The only issue she has run into is that the bulb seems to have died in less than a month's time. So we have to get a replacement.It did require assembly, but my dad was able to figure it out by following instructions included. It was interesting to figure out placement on top of the tree, but we worked it out. This might not look great on a huge tree.

Quite difficult to assemble and keep together during the installation process. The little notches that go in the slots are not an exact fit and when you try to put any pressure to make it all come together other parts pop out. But as long as you're gentle with it once you have it together finally it stays together for the most part. We didn't move anything after we had it fully assembled and installed and when we went to take it down three of the pieces that pop loose on the back side that you couldn't see and we're just hanging. It's just flimsy plastic sheets they get folded into a form to look like a star. Again from 5 ft away it looks awesome..

This turned out to be so perfect for my tree. The way it illuminates gives it such a wonderful look once it’s turned on. It balances out the lighting with the tree lights…

While I ended up loving the result of the product, I do believe it is too expensive for the item. Annoying self assembly I put off for days. Cheap white plastic I decided to spray paint the tips gold for a better look.
