Good Lights, Even Better Customer Support
I was using these while building a display cabinet and during testing the red channel stopped working on one of the strips. Not exactly what you want to see mid-project. I contacted support and, honestly, expected the usual back-and-forth. Instead, within three days I had a replacement in hand. That’s the kind of customer support that actually deserves to be called customer support. The strips themselves work well and can be cut at the designated spots. One small tip: if you need to solder to the pads, getting the plastic lens coating off can be a little tricky. I had the best luck cutting close to the pad and then gently melting the remaining material away with a soldering iron. Overall I’m very pleased with both the product and the support. The lights look great in the cabinet, and it’s nice knowing the company stands behind what they sell.

Great value! Easy setup
I was looking for a permanent solution to Christmas lights, and I think I found it. These lights are water resistant. Even though I am in Arizona, we see little rain, these should hold up well. The 3m sticky back is great for holding the lights in place, but I would recommend a coax staple of some type to reinforce them. Again living in Arizona, I can see this adhesive wearing out and getting soft in the summer. I mounted to strip to see how I wanted them for Christmas lights, one strip behind the facia board and one in front. I will be mounting them in front under the lip of the roof. I would like to add more behind the facia board though because they allow for a more subtle illumination that would be great for other times of the year. I left these on for quite a while and the temp of the power supply was warm, so I would consider putting a timer switch if some type, or remember to unplug or turn off during the day. I wouldn’t leave them on constantly unless I had a better power supply. I would say the one downside would be the power supply, because of this you can only have 2-16ft strands running off of one power supply. I would not try to connect more than the two strips to one PS. If you are using these for Christmas or other, where you will be using lots of strands, you may have to run extension cords and such to make it to all power supples. Their is a picture on here already of the type of staple you can use to secure the light strips and power cords to the back of the facia. All in all I am pretty satisfied with this product and will be buying more in the future to spruce up my backyard lighting, and add some other lighting effects around the house. :::UPDATE: The lights are looking great, and the temperature of the power supply is not an issue. If I am going to leave them on extended periods of time I just turn the brightness down. Checked on my power supplies and they were cool to the touch. I would also say, lay out and plan ahead on where you need to hook up power and how the corner bends will work, to make sure the polarity lines up if you are using L connectors. I have probably a 6-8ft strip that I had to cut off and take down and redo. The good news is though, I can always use the extra strip somewhere less as long as I have a solderless connector. So really there is minimal wasted product. I just have a lot leftover, but I will use it up

Which ways install and looks great with many functions
So far so good. Installed the light today with ease. The stickiness of the strip was perfect. Clean the area first to insure adhesion. There’s many colors to choose from. There’s a fade option and flashing as well if you want the Christmas effect. The IR function with the remote works well. For the price you can’t go wrong. I installed these at the top of our 5th wheel just below the awning. You can’t adjust the brightness of every color.

Great for outdoor accent lighting, a few quirks to work around
Put these up along my patio and back deck and overall I'm happy with how it turned out. The waterproof coating seems legit, they've held up through a couple of rounds of rain without any flickering or dead sections, which was my biggest worry with outdoor strips. The color range is impressive too, tons of options through the remote/app, and the colors are vibrant rather than washed out or pastel-looking like some cheaper strips I've tried. 66ft gave me more than enough length to wrap around the areas I wanted covered, with some left over for a smaller accent run near the steps. Cutting and connecting the strips at the marked points was simple, and the adhesive backing held up fine once I made sure the surface was clean and dry first. The app control is convenient when it works, but I've had it lose connection a couple of times and need a restart to reconnect. Not a dealbreaker, but a little annoying when I just want to switch modes quickly. The remote is a nice backup for those moments. Brightness is good for accent lighting, but if you're hoping for functional, bright task lighting outdoors, these are more ambiance than illumination. Overall, a solid outdoor lighting option that's held up to the elements so far. Just wish the app connection was more consistent. 4/5 stars, good ambiance lighting with occasional connectivity hiccups.

Nice lights that will last you YEARS!
So I first bought these in December of 2020, and despite them being used only on/around holidays and outside 24/7 for almost 4 years I never had a problem with them....until Dec 2024! Unfortunately something on one of the strips of lights failed and it wouldn't light up (BTW the other strip is still going strong) Anyway I bought these again to replace the faulty strip with the new one and plugged into the old receiver from 2020 and the new strip lit right up! So now while my lights look a little wierd in the day time with one new and one crusty old one. But I can't really complain considering they cost barely $20 and it was FOUR YEARS before I had any issues! (plus now I've got a spare strip/receiver/remote in case I have any problems with those down the line too). So would definitely recommend these if you're looking for some outdoor holiday/accent lighting.

HONEST REVIEW - PLEASE READ.
This is going to be long, but it’s an honest review. Stay with me here. These lights seem awesome. They are thin, and very flexible. The lights are pretty bright. BUT They are made VERY cheaply. My original order came with lights that had a separation where the bottom of the strip met the silicone allowing any moisture, dust, water or anything else you can think of get into the lights. They immediately sent me a replacement which is awesome. Those came defective too. Then I refunded the order and placed an order for this model, the 5050 which is the one that has more than 3 colored lights. This one came the same way. Openings for seepage. Also there was excess silicone on the underside so the LED strip will not lay flat. So I contacted them again. Besides those issues, their customer support team is HORRIBLE. They claim they are here to help. You don’t hear back from them for 12 hours atleast and I’m sure that’s due to time zone but they never fully answer your questions. They responded to me telling me Wendy HAD to help me because she’s the only one who ever did. That was false. The person who said that was Lee. Wendy then emailed me 6 times complaining that they are afraid I am going to return my product and rip them off. WHAT NERVE. You have every right as the customer to request replacement or return if the product is not as described. If they said not waterproof and made horribly then it would describe the product. I am not even getting to fully use the lights so I cannot comment if my house burns down. After seeing the photos of the burnt AC adapter box and the white sensor box, I can’t believe I was even going to try these things. RED FLAGS. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask away.

Great Lights- read if you are adding connectors
I installed these lights on my back patio, love them and have ordered 2 sets. Just a word of caution...these are great lights with twice the amount of LED's per strip as competitive brands, but it can make attaching connectors difficult as the lights are so close together. I found that even with cutting on the appropriate marks and peeling back the waterproof cover (it more breaks than peels back)...snapping a connector lid closed was difficult as the LED was often in the way of snapping the cover down completely. I ended up having success with "4 Pin RGB LED Strip Connectors 10mm Set RGB LED Strip Extension Cable Wire, Solderless LED Connectors 10mm for 5050 3528 RGB LED Strip Lights". These took a lot more effort, but could accommodate the waterproofing strip and closed completely. Also, the adhesive seems quite sticky, but because I was mounting on outdoor stucco I did not rely just on the adhesive - I used gorilla indoor/outdoor clear mounting tape. I cut it into tiny strips and attached every 6 inches or so to the adhesive side. UPDATE: I have had the lights up outside for over 2 months now and even with the desert heat, they have held up. The clear waterproof strip has yellowed a bit, but they are exposed to direct sunlight on 110 degree days. The yellowing doesn’t change the light color at all.

Ok, but can be a headache
The lights go on pretty easy. I had to buy some connectors because the kit doesn’t come with anything to hook up more then two lines. The lights themselves aren’t bad, not super bright. I was hoping for brighter. My main issue is the remote and control box. First, I learned I need to run these to at least a 30amp fuse. I had them initially hooked up to a 5amp fuse on my fuse box and it would barely turn them on. The instructions do not say what size fuse to use, so I just used the biggest I had and it made them brighter. The remote is cheap and feels like it. I dont think it will last long. No instruction to operate the remote and it has a bunch of buttons which I’m guessing there is some sort of preferred setting you could program... but I wouldn’t know. When I would power off my lights the power button would just turn them from blue to red... I had to go back under neath and unplug the power from the fuse box in order to get it to shut off. The control box is iffy. I turned my lights off and they shut off briefly but came back on. Little did I know they came back on, a week later I went to start my boat and my battery was dead. After charging it and going out. I was swimming around my boat and saw the lights were on.... not sure what else to do. I haven’t tried their customer service. Maybe they will send me a new control box and or remote? UPDATE**** About 2 months into them now and maybe turned them on 5x... half the lights are dim, right around the connection. I will trouble shoot them but at this point I wouldn’t recommend them if your trying to hook up multiple strands. Seems like there is a large voltage drop going on.
