Couldn’t give physically give it a one star. The product I received was watery and unlike when Iv bought it in the shops, also didn’t seem to dry properly then I had a reaction to the mascara.

I have found my new favorite mascara. It glides on smooth and doesn’t clump!!

Maybeline mascara is usually a decent mascara (compared to over the counter or many high end mascaras that can run or irritate the eyes). I prefer a brown over a black which isn’t easy to find in stores. I had never tried this specific wand-type of Maybeline, and I haven’t been as happy with it as other ones in the past. I prefer a bend in the wand, and this one is huge and clunky. I don’t feel it matches its claims of looking like false eyelashes… not even close ( and I use a primer underneath). I prefer earlier models of their mascara over this one. I eventually got used to the wand. However, the tube ran out earlier than previous Maybeline mascaras or other brands. A great plus is that it is waterproof and it didn’t irritate my eyes.

Highlights: -Buildable -Keeps my lashes curled -Does not flake -Works great with my hooded brow/ no smudge. -Water proof/resistant -Easy to remove My routine: Start with clean lashes (or it will clump). I curl my lashes 10 seconds each, put on eyeliner. Quick coat on top of lashes, root to tip (always root to tip of lashes) then layer. Layers gotta be done quick, do not allow to dry at all. One layer on the daily but 2+ layers if in photos. My short lashes can only handle two quick coats and I do an extra eyelash curl even with my eyeliner on for special events. This mascara locks the curl im place all night. Also, not sure how hygenic this is but when the tube dries out, I put some of my eye drops in the bottle and push in with the wand for an extra use or two. It does dry out eventually but this mascara is worth it to me. Curls my lashes and works great for my hooded brows since it's waterproof. Finally, no flaking unlike many other products, even very expensive mascaras I have tried.

Don’t wear mascara much but have tried many, many mascaras over the years. This one is the best! It will make my lashes look long and not clumpy! Yeah! I buy Maybelline products as they do not test on animals. Have not been disappointed. I think I bought waterproof so now I need to buy remover.
