This is a lot cheaper than the Lectric XP buddy seat and I love that the pedals fold. The factory hardware will wiggle lose very quickly, so you can use a non-permanent thread locker or do what I did and add washers and lock washers, OR lock nuts. Very easy cheap upgrade to prevent it from wiggling loose. Despite how thin the seat is my wife is pretty comfortable even on an hour ride. The folding foot pegs are why I went with this and required some dremel work to the holes to fit correctly on the bike. After probably 3 hours and 50 miles the pedals are bending a little away from the frame, even though my wife is only 115lbs. I’m going to add bolts to the top holes to anchor them to the frame. If you manage your expectations and don’t expect great quality I don’t it’s a bad value.

Installed this on my cruiser to get my kid back and forth to school. Child's weight about 45 pounds. Installation was easy, no special tools required. Product looks pretty flimsy but held up to frequent bike rides throughout spring, summer, and fall of 2019. Still using it this spring, 2020, though child is now over 50 pounds and exceeds the safety rating of the rack to which the seat is attached. Seat is essentially a flimsy seeming piece of rigid plastic with foam cushion covered by vinyl. A little sticky on hot days, recommend long pants as very uncomfortable on bare skin. Not a comfortable seat for rides longer than about 30 minutes. We did a longer, 1 hour ride, with the seat and my child was pretty unhappy towards the end. Well worth the $16 I paid. Significantly better option for us than anything else as we were still able to put the bike on a bus rack and extend our range. It's not a particularly well made product but it gets the job done. Nothing for feet to rest on, nothing for back. Basically just a cushion that you can screw to a bike rack you already own. —— Added 7/2021 My daughter finally got too heavy for us to use this device. I wasn’t strong enough to peddle her around. We really appreciated it and it was exactly what we needed. I’m sad she’s gotten too big. We loved these bike rides together.

It's ok. installing is easy, it doesn't stay that still tho which isn't that good, padding is a little firm but it's alright

After a while of using it and having it installed and what not- I noticed a little rattle after a while and. I realized tHat after riding for so long he screws started to wiggle off. Sooo gotta figure something out for that. Besides that he seat quality is fine, it’s not 5 star leather lol , the install is super easy , and fit was fine but not perfect. Also, the durability isn’t amazing as if you fall it will rip. Besides that it functions great

Looks nice but the quality is lacking. After two rides with my 6-year-old, I checked the seat. It was loose and some of the nuts fell off. I tightened them generously and they still shook loose. Overall I don't think this will last.

I recently purchased a FatteBike Major T cargo e-Bike. It’s a great bike that came with a 23” plywood seat/platform on the back. I had expected my primary use for the bike would be running errands; groceries, hardware store and pharmacy trips among others. What I did not expect is that my wife would fall in love with riding on the back! The platform is not the most comfortable seat. The TOPCABIN Bicycle Seat was the perfect solution for adding a comfortable perch for passengers. This seat was designed to be bolted to the wire racks found on many bikes so I had to make a few modifications for it to securely attach to the back of the Major T. I did this by cutting a 3/4” piece of plywood to the same size as the platform and bolting the seat to the plywood. The addition of some light aluminum angle iron on the sides creates a track that then slides over the existing platform and is secured with one bolt and wing nut. This allows us to easily remove the seat when not needed. Some reviewers have been critical of the seats construction. I find this seat to be a good value for the price and likely to last a reasonable period of time for the investment.

Put on the back of my beach cruiser type bike - with the permanent cargo rack. Perfect for riding to the bus stop to pick up my little one. So far it is holding up good, and makes traveling the distance quick work.

Got this so my 8 year old could sit behind me. Its so soft and comfortable. We did a 15 mile total whole day ride and she said it was really comfortable. My only concern when I bought this was that it is flat in the picture but my rack has some curves in the front and back. The base of the seat is a softer plastic so it will conform to the rack. It over hangs as its slightly longer then my rack but it fits great!! I can see how the bolts might becomes loose from riding vibrations but I fix that problem easy by just using taking a little black electrical tape and wrapping the screw after the bolt was tighten. It will not move after that. I would highly recommend this seat as long as you have a rack that can support the weight. I also got foot pegs separately to pair with the seat.
