I see pictures of Babyliss hair clippers and trimmer that are for close cuts, i'm just looking to cut my hair but not by that much. can i use this?

The lever on the barber clippers is free-moving with 0.5mm - 2.0mm range.

Zero gapping is not recommended for the hair clippers but the hair trimmer can be adjusted to zero gapped, which is perfect for precise trimming and creating fine lines. 
The trimmer can also be used to trim and shave body hair conveniently and safely.

The Hair Clipper and Trimmer set comes with two 1.5m USB cables, 1 for the clipper and 1 for the trimmer, but they are just the same cables and are interchangeable.
