A valuable resource for all.
Parables is a great book about the stories Jesus told in the Bible. These parables explain how we are to live our lives. MacArthur helps readers understand what each story means, and why Jesus told them. He uses easy words and clear examples, so that readers of all ages can learn from it. A valuable book to have on-hand.

Print is too small.
I like the book. The only thing I can say that is a problem is that the print is way too small. I have to read using a magnifying glass, even with my bifocals.

Wonderful teachings
John mccarthy is an amazing author, pastor lover of the Lord. I have enjoyed many of his books and gained more insight From reading him, I encourage believers in non-believers to read his books.

Great book!
I loved this book! This might be my favorite John MacArthur book I’ve read so far! He really helped me understand some of the more challenging parables and relates everything back to Jesus. I love how academic this book gets without getting bogged down! A great read for anyone who wants a deeper understanding of Jesus’s teachings

A fantastic read. Highly recommend.
Five stars for the book. The book itself came with minor damage on it (pictured) but I personally don't care, just thought I would note it. This is such a good book. It is immensly insightful, educational, and I highly recommend reading it.

You though you understood?
I now know I didn't, furthermore, I would never have come to these conclusions on my own. MacArthur is very insightful and biblically sound as always. He shares his knowledge and understanding of scripture generously. This is the stuff that money can't buy. The revelation of the Lord God Almighty accessible to the little ones of this filthy, sinful world. Thanks be given to the Lord for it has pleased Him that it is done this way.
