Works great. I fixed one tub that was leaking back into the wall so I bought a second one and fixed another tub having the same issue. Put silicone around to make a good seal against the wall and save yourself the headache of fixing water damage in your walls.

I wanted to seal the hole around the water pipe coming through the wall that the tub spout attaches to. I didn’t want water to seep through the wall. This product was perfect for that. After the spout is removed it’s easy to install. I coated the back side of this ring with silicone sealant and pressed it against the shower wall. I then installed the o-ring that slides up to the center of the ring. I re-installed the spout and the job was done. Now the gaps around the hole for the water pipe is completely sealed from water and moisture. Very good product and relatively easy to install.

Thank God for this easy, simple seal. I could not find anything like this at Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. It fit perfectly around the copper pipe and covered the hole in the wall, but it’s not so big that the faucet couldn’t fit around it. It’s completely hidden. I can take a shower and feel confident than no water is rolling back inside the wall!

Easy to install. I just slid it in and added the o-ring. Lubricant is included. I’m glad I saw this product as I wasn’t aware it existed.
