I AM NOT ENTERTAINED!!!!!!
A very good movie but the DVD quality is terrible at best. My previous VHS copy is much better in every way than the DVD copy I received. Still wish I didn't give away the tape too quickly. One of my all-time favorite movies ruined!

Bollywood Bride Horror Unleashed!
"Jaani Dushman" is a film about brides being abducted by a monster. The first time I watched this I was terrified, I was a little kid. The spooky song "Chole re doli uthao kahar" sung by amazing singer MD Rafi, sends shivers down my spine. When you hear this beautiful wedding song, you know that an indian bride dressed in her traditional red sari and gold jewellery is going to disappear.Jaani Dushman is a 1979 bollywood horror, with a great cast, all the big stars:*Sunil Dutt (from films: Mother India, Mera Saaya, Waqt, Munna Bhai),*Rekha(from films: Silsila, Unrao Jaan, Khoon Bari Maang),*Shatrughan Sinha(from films: Loha, Dostana,Shaan),*Vinod Mehra (from films:Do Phool, The Burning Train, Pyari Behna),*Sanjeev Kumar(from films:Sholay, Seeta Aur Geeta,Naukar),*Neetu Singh(from filmd: Amar Akbar Antony, Kabhi Kabhi, Parvarish),*Jeetendra(from films: Dharam Veer, Himmatwala, Tohfa) ,*Reena Roy(from films: Nagin, Naseeb),*Aruna Irani(from films: Bombay to Goa, Caravan, Beta),*Madan Puri (from film: Amar Prem, Kati Patang, Roti Kapara aur Makan),*Amrish Puri (from films: Mr India, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,Tridev, Karan Arjun, Pardes)*Shakti Kapoor (from films:Naseeb, Andaz Apna Apna, Satte pe Satta)*Premnath (from films: Bobby, Dharmatma, Desh Premee). This film was a MEGA HIT in India as you can see, all these great stars! Classic Hindi B-Movie Epic Horror Movie
Classic Hindi Horror B-Movie and one of the last of the big budget Hindi horror movies that were really fun to watch. The movie is shot beautifully and while a lot of it is clichéd and predictable it does hold your attention well and has great music and performances from its stars Sanjeev Kumar , Jeetendra, Shatrugan Sinha, Sunil Dutt and Vinod Media, who play the heroes and suspects (and surprisingly the movie has well written roles for all the leading men). If you don't know this movie is about a killer who preys on new brides and starts off with a thrilling 'train' kill which is predictable but dramatic.I remember watching this in the old cinema on Soho Road in Birmingham as a child (yes it was a long time ago ) its a classic.
