I got an old computer from the "computer exchange" (aka recycle bin) at the office. My daughter needed a computer to carry to school and I did not feel like buying another so that seemed like a functional solution. I bought this battery, reimaged the computer and like magic, she has a fully functional computer for a minimal investment. Putting it in was a little involved, not a show stopper but more than just plug and play. I expect that's why I got the computer, the previous owner got tired of the old battery. The battery came with instructions on how to "exercise" it to get the battery life up. I don't know why but I had to charge, discharge, several cycles before the full battery life was obtained. As it is now, she has a nice computer and did not have to blow big bucks. Good deal.

So far so good. Getting about 3 plus hours of run time. UPDATE: Well, about 60 days and that flushing sound I hear is my money going down the toilet. Now it will not even accept a charge. I can not believe Amazon would even sell such junk and make themselves look bad. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK! UPDATE 2.0: They sent me some long procedure to get the battery "working". Tried to execute the procedure...nothing...REALLY UNHAPPY!

Seems like a perfect aftermarket replacement for the original. Solved the issues I was having due to the original battery.

AFTER I bought and installed the new battery, I discovered it still wouldn't hold a charge. I was astonished. I went to a small local computer repair and they confirmed that the new battery was fine, but it was the power management module, part of the motherboard, that was not working correctly. On a ~7yo laptop, definitely not worth the cost. If I need to use this laptop, I plug it in.

I installed the NP03XL on 9 August 2025 and by 10 December it will not charge anymore. It only lasted 4 months to the day. My HP Envy 360 has to be disassembled to replace the battery; its not a model that I can just swap a pluggable battery in and out of. Having to do a teardown for the same thing in just 4 months is infuriating. NTW, I never found a way to contact the vendor to make use of the 2-year warranty so Amazon says they will issue a refund for the original cost after I buy a new one from them.

I got one of these from a different manufacturer/vendor and it died after a few months. This one runs the laptop for much longer and is holding up well. Easy install and so far it is very good.

I couldn't be happier with this laptop battery! After using it for over six months, it has performed beyond my expectations, especially considering its affordable price. It's truly a great value. Installation was a breeze—just make sure to have some compressed air handy for cleaning the laptop while you have it open. Highly recommend this battery!

So far so good, last battery I bought from another company had a terrible battery life and durability to it, it started swelling within a month of having it... It fits perfectly in the replacement spot, the plugin for the battery to the motherboard is kind of tricky but I found a nice angle and got it perfectly in and secure as all heck haha. Thank goodness I can finally use my laptop again... Now I just need a touchscreen replacement and it would be like brand new haha, but cant afford that yet.
