Should your lighting fixture does not use an LED-specific transformer, chances were that: A. These light bulbs will burn out if the voltage is over 12V. B. These light bulbs will not work or not bright enough if the voltage is lower than 12V. 2. Normally speaking, old halogen lighting fixtures are using power transformer that is for halogen bulbs only. To save the trouble and make these LED ones work well, you have two options: A. To change your halogen power transformer to an LED one. B. To keep at least one halogen light bulb in the fixture along with LED bulbs. 3. Please use an LED-specific dimmer which is also called triac dimmer if to dim since LED bulbs work different from halogen bulbs. 4.
