These clipper guards are excellent quality replacements. They fit most standard clippers perfectly and provide consistent, precise cutting lengths for a smooth, even haircut. The color-coding makes selecting the right size easy. A great set for home haircuts!

Perfect fit for my Wahl Quick Cut clippers. I needed smaller sizes than what came with the clippers, so these are nice & sturdy.

We've owned a Conair trimmer set, model HCT242WR, for several years. It's the large red one - I think maybe Conair Man was the name of it possibly(?) but don't exactly know for sure. Anyhow, over time, our various cutting guards got either lost or broken and we'd just been suffering with the sharp/jagged ones we had left and trying not to get scratched every time we used them. I finally decided enough was enough, but the trimmer itself was still going strong, so I didn't want to junk it. I tried looking for Conair-specific replacement guards, but couldn't find much of anything. I also knew we didn't need a full set - I was originally just trying to find a #1 guard (especially since it seemed to be kind of a gamble whether or not the replacement ones would actually even fit my trimmer). So I was pretty excited to find this set with not just one, but three, of the shorter size guards (the length we predominately use) and that it was similarly priced to what it would cost to buy just one guard! I read through the reviews and the Q&A and based on information provided by the seller, determined that they would (hopefully) more than likely fit the size of our blade. They state that your blade width should be between 45-46mm. So I measured mine to double check, and it was! ...Placed the order and when they arrived, I put them on, and voila - they work like a charm. They fit nicely, and snap on and off with ease. They provide a great, precise cut and do everything they're supposed to do. I also love that they come in half sizes (our original set only had full increments i.e. #1, #2, etc.). The different coloration makes it very easy to grab the correct one you need. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I don't find they're flimsy or fragile in any way. They're probably not quite as 'robust' as the original ones that came with our trimmer, but if you use them correctly and keep them properly stored when they're not being used, then I don't see any issue with these lasting you many, many years. To clarify - our original broken guards I think got that way due to likely being stepped on or having something heavy dropped on them, etc. These will break too if put under that type of abuse. Otherwise, no, they shouldn't break or snap under normal conditions.

The guards are deeper than labeled. The measurement is incorrect. They seem well made. The magnet is strong. They fit ok. But, already having a set of clipper combs, size 0 to 4, I got these for the small half sizes 0.5 and 1.5 and they are not sized correctly. The 0.5 is more like a size 1. Others have said this, but I didn't read the reviews until seeing the issue. I did not expect this. I don't like to send items back, but on principle I am doing that.

These Guards work great with my Wahl Senior Clipper. There is no extra noise level, the design of the clip in the rear works perfect to keep the guards attached to the machine. I also like the colors, it makes it easier to identify them quickly.

The guard measurements are way too big and wrong! A 1/2 guard is taller than my 1.0 guard!!! Doesn’t make any sense. Please don’t buy!

These are made of sturdy plastic material. I purchased these as back up for my oster fast feed clippers but, as you can see from the images, they will not fit. They are too small. I'm sure they'll fit a wahl clipper (seniors, magic clippers)

I prefer these to others I've purchased. They snap onto my Wahl clippers very snugly - no worries with them falling off during a haircut.

Good quality

Very tight fit on my basic wahl clippers and it does not cut nicely. Pulls hair on every pass. Will not be using. Quality seems decent but it does not work well.

These guards fit well, but they have a cheap plastic feel. The bright colors are a nice touch, but I’m super careful when removing them because the tabs feel like they could break any second. Definitely not the most durable option, but they get the job done if you’re gentle.
