D'Addario Screeching Halt Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Cover - Acoustic Guitar Accessories - Eliminates Feedback

This did not fit the sound hole of the guitar that I bought it for, but I have several acoustic guitars so it did fit one of my other guitars so everything worked out. These things are easy to get in and out of the sounds hole it just has to be the right size, make sure you check the size before you buy it! It did not fit in the Taylor 914, but it did fit in the Taylor KOA 214 that I have. I bought two of these because I also have a Takamine G series that I know it will definitely fit in! Yeah they don't make sound holes standard size on every acoustic guitar so always check the size! I have some smaller ones for my other guitars so everything is covered! Like I said it all worked out. These are great for cutting down on feedback playing live on stage if your guitar does not have a notch filter! And of course you can use EQ to get the feedback out, these are just a pretty easy fix. And it's dark so most people won't even know that it's in there as far as appearance goes.

I use it when i play plugged in my church, or trying different presets/effects in my line6 stomp multieffect processor, it helps to reduce the feedbacks and seems like it does it work very well🙌🏼

So this is only for if you are touring or your part of a mega church pa 🤣 so this fits on any taylor 123ce or any martin gpc and D models i do not have a clue about gibson or other guitars (definitely not ashthrope or certain fenders) But it does remove some low end (sound engineers will love you) so its perfect! depending on what guitar you have it will look pretty, just shove it in the soundhole and that easy! Be sure to measure before buying or you kinda wasted $6 on a piece of rubber

I'm being very generous with this review. I own a fender sonoran SCE acoustic electric in seafoam green. However, if you know this guitar. The fret board actually hangs over the soundhole just a tiny bit. Making it an excessively tight fit. To the point it almost worries me. With that being said. I put it in my other fender acoustic and it fit fine. But It doesnt serve my purpose because the one it fits is far from what i prefer to use for recording. I could probably snip it and trim it. But it just sounds like a pain to make it look good. So. The verdict. And my honest opinion. This is a solid little sound hole plug. Rubber type material. USA made and by a good brand. I will keep it. Throw it in the bin. Who knows when youll need something like this. If you have a full circular soundhole. Its definately worth a try.

The item itself fits a bit too loose on my guitar. It still gets the job done tho... It seems to be quite durable however.

I was seriously thinking about trading in my PRS Angelus SE because I couldn't control the feedback while playing amplified through my Traynor AM 100 acoustic amp. As a last-ditch effort, I ordered one of these sound hole covers. Not only is the feedback problem (at considerably high volume solved, I found that playing single string lines and arpeggios were crystal clear and far better articulated than playing the instrument in open sound hole mode.
