Leopard's Fury (A Leopard Novel Book 9)

Another book I pre-ordered.Maybe I have to stop reading Christine Feehan. *whimper*Basically, this story is, "You are mine. You are mine. You are mine. I'm a dangerous criminal. You are mine."What's with all the heroes being criminals???? Do you really want to date a criminal???I couldn't help my mind playing out the image of the hero ending up in jail, and the heroine having to raise a child on her own in an environment where everyone wants to kill her.So--deep breath--I put down this book at least three times, rolling my eyes so hard, I think I fell asleep. Seriously. It's pages and pages of, "You're mine. Mine to keep. We're a done deal. You belong with me. I own you. You're not going anywhere. I keep what's mine. I own you body and soul. You're mine, you're mine, you're mine."Although this book had potential at the start, it quickly died with the premise of a criminal with possessive tendencies. I feared she'd wake up and have him choking her because she said a different guy's name in her sleep. He was a maniac. She loved it. Why? Not sure. Which just about sums up my feelings for this book. I hate to say that the criminal element in this author's novels is wearing so thin, it's transparent, but hey, anything else would be a lie.

WOW!! I want to say to all the Christine Feehan fans who have been disappointed with some of her past stories that she listen to her fans and she is back to being the excellent storyteller we all knew she was. Leopard's Prey is about the story. Sometimes I felt like I was reading the Godfather, but with a new uptake on it with Leopards!!Leopard's Fury is not sex sex sex this is action packed fierce Leopards and them protecting there mates. I fell in love with the heroine Evangeline Trege which we met a few books back in the series and her Fierce Leopard Mate Alonzo Massi "aka" Fyodor Amurov. I am almost speechless at how great this couple is. OMG Evangeline has a fierce alpha female Leopard Bebe.Lots of Kick Ass action and ask question later to all of Alonzo's enemies. We get to spend a lot of time with all the previous lead characters from the other Leopard People series. It almost felt like a reunion of all the characters. Emma's baby is born. There is a bit of repetitive sentences, but not many. It won't bother you. When we do get to the sex about 63% into the story its pure sensual sexy hot sex!! Leopards Fury is about the story, the action and the falling in love of a couple and less about the sex!!As a very long time Fan of Christine Feehan I can't express how much I loved this story and I am so excited that CF is back to writing in her former style but has bought her stories into the world of today!!I Highly Recommend Leopard's Fury!! You won't regret reading it.1 like

I absolutely adore Christine Feehan. This series is turning into one of my favorites. To be honest, i have never read one of her books and not given it 5 stars. Just like this story about Fyodor and Evangeline, both characters had severely hard lives, they find each other and work through their problems and troubles and find love . Just as it should be. I am addicted to Christine. I just don't know any other way to say it. I'm waiting for the next book to come out, I believe it's our Ghost Walker series . I just can't wait.

I hated this book when first started out I thought it was awsone then since first sex scene it never stop with the sex no story every 20 pages u may get a few lines of the story back to sex,sex,sex, whole range book if you lime a book with nothing but sex scene this is the book for you but me I am so disappointed in Christine what Happen? You have writers block so you fill the pages with sex scene and the same sex scene to mne pretty much same . I want buy another book and I have prerecorded her last book to come out in march I think. But to me if I want porn I go buy porn I have bought every book shgshge has wrote but the books just kept loosing the appeal for me they kept going down hill don't know if I will even waste my time reading g the next one to much to pay for books that all about sex sorry Christine.but you just lost a fan.

I love her books I can't wait from them to come out and then I get upset because I read them too fast. This one was a little different never had a mafia boss as bossy as this one basically. Evangeline has her own bakery when she meets the bad boy alpha leopard. He knows he should stay away because he is bad. His life doesn't need to touch her life but he can't help himself he has to have her to calm his beast. Love this book was a little different like I said before I still liked it. Had some of the characters from other books which I always enjoy hearing that side of the books again. Now just waiting for another book. 😉

Ok it has to be said that this 9th book in the leopard series is a hundred percent better than the last few. But, although better, there is a repetitive blah blah blah all the way through.Leonard's Fury brings Evangeline Tregre Bouvier and Alonzo Massi together. Alonzo isn't actually who he appears to be. He has blood thirsty Russian roots and a vicious amur leopard, he's ice cold and a killer. Evangeline is a loner, independent and a survivor of a cruel childhood....all of which the reader is repeatedly told over and over again. It does marginally beat pages and pages of ott, boring sex scenes...just!!!All the 'blah' aside though, the actual storyline was ok. We meet and catch up with couples from previous books and the story intermingles making the plots make sense. These tough, dominant men and leopards aren't just sex machines looking for their 'yes' woman, they're coming together to beat the worst of the crime world.Overall, a much needed improvement but still not on par with her earlier works. There's no equality between the couples any more either. The heroine is advertised as 'strong' and 'independent' but falter in that respect completely.

I loved this book. Didn't think I would considering he's supposed to be an unfeeling killer whose been in her life for a year yet never made a move. But I love him. Alonzo and Evangeline are perfect for one another. He's protective and obsessed with her and after a year of watching her like a stalker (in a really adorable way) things happen that forces him to finally claim his woman.It annoyed me how it happened but only for a minute because when I thought about it he had no choice and would do anything to keep her from harms way. He loves her he wants her and now he has her he'll never let her go. Even going as far as placing guards on the windows on their wedding day cause she's a flight risk. Her response like he could catch me. I loved Evangeline she's warm and kind and she wants him but isn't afraid she tell him to get the hell out of her life when she's angry with him. She feared he didnt want her when really nothing could be further from the truth. She's the only woman he's ever wanted and the only one he'll keep.

Wow! I can honestly say this is the best book by Christine Feehan in some time. It wasn't all sex, sex, sex and yes even more sex. There was an actual decent storyline with a strong hero and a heroine who matched him in strength. None of the dominating rubbish that has filled quite a number of her books in recent years. More like this please!

Strong heroes deserve - actual demand - strong heroines. Not ones just because of good sex become placid and simply loose their feistiness altogether. Relieved that the heroine retained her independence and feistiness. Also lurve the evolution of the inner cat relationship with their human conterparts. Excellent development #longmayitcontinue

I really enjoyed reading more about Alonso the body guard. Evangeline is a great character too. Secretive about her background as her leopard protected her from nasty grandfathers leopard. . Loved her nickname for Alonso. Iceman. Totally loved this new book in the series.

Love that there was more action than sex in this one! Miss the rain forest and wish there home base could have ended up there but I know it not an option. Love the roman and how the whole organisation is ending up!! Can’t be happier with this series

Difficult to review. This is an author who can write but I found myself skipping large segments, mainly the love scenes. Parts are too wordy for me, just seems to lack depth. Sorry.

The story is buried under a plethora of erotica such a shame. I don't enjoy these stories any more they used to be so compelling to read but this time I struggled T finish the book. The characters are strong. And the storyline good but the sex scenes are too overdone.

After the frustration of her last few books in all series Ms Feehan has her mojo back.I really enjoyed this latest leopard installment. Also it was good to catch up with old friends, previous characters and see how they were doing. I hope she keeps it up, great read.....

Book was very good up until the last chapter not enough closure on the end there should have been a hint of the brotherhood finding them for the next book

All the books in the Leopard series are great. Very sexy and all the heroes are fantastic in one way or another. I do love a good story and this series has a great one in every book.
