Handles the large rear cogs with ease. At a reasonable price point.

I broke my original deore derailleur on a ride when a stick got caught in the chain right at the derailleur. Ordered this replacement on a Saturday and had it on Monday. Quickly installed by a local bike tech and feels crispy and great. Replaced chain while we were at it and bike feels brand new. Very happy.

No complaints yet, it shifts fine. I liked my sram x.0 better but I wanted to go from 3x10 to 1x11 for cheap. The sram just seemed to have some soul to it. This was cheap, like 47d. Shifter, dr, and chain for about 120d. The deore shifter does push/pull which is cool. The dr also has a clutch, which is new to me. I don't have to think about it much which is how I like it.

Arrived in a genuine shimano box, bought this to replace hammered deore 10 speed from 2017. Glad that they finally have steel jockey wheels with bearings and not plastic ones with bushings. also, capacity for 51t cassettes is nice.

Bought this specifically because I needed the clutch for converting my 3x8 to a 1x11. Looks great, shifts great, and with the clutch I haven't had a single probably with my chain slipping like most people tend to have when doing a 1x conversion.
