Purple Gel Crystal Flex Rest Transparent Mini Wrist Rest

My MacBook Pro was cutting into my arms when I was typing, and as a programmer, I type a lot. I think I may also have been developing the early signs of carpal tunnel, since I started to notice tingling in my fingers and pain in my wrists after typing for long periods of time. I searched the internet, but I couldn't find anything that didn't block the trackpad on my Mac, so I found these (see below for how to use them). I bought this because it got good reviews: it is firm, and the gel doesn't ooze out like other brands. I can say that this has effectively eliminated the tingling and the pain. To use it on a Mac, I got two of these and put them on either side of the touch pad. If you're sitting in a short chair, consider placing them between the lower edge of your laptop and your desk, to make a sort of ramp that your mid-forearms can rest on.

This wrist rest was exactly what I needed! It's soft plastic, gel feel is perfect for under my wrist as I'm using the mouse. I like this one as opposed to the fabric covered one because you can slide your wrist and it feels cooler. It's size is about 3.5" x 5" and fits right on my slide out drawer next to the keyboard. I received this quickly & I'm very happy with my purchase!!! :o)

I had a mousepad with a soft gel wrist rest, but I'd spilled so much stuff on it it was time to replace it - besides, my optical mouse wasn't working too well on the mousepad anyway. My desk is such that it's more comfortable to put the mouse in the keyboard drawer, so this gel wrist rest had the dual attributes of helping to relieve the tendonitis I get in my right wrist after typing for a while (and I'm a grad student so I'm on the computer a lot) and being small enough to fit on the keyboard shelf without obstructing the keyboard. I've had it for about a month and a half. What I've found is that it's great and the stiffness is actually a plus at the beginning of the day, but after hours of use the stiffness actually becomes a liability. Let me explain: the stiffness means that my wrist doesn't sink uncomfortably into the wrist rest, which defeats the purpose of it - it to keep my wrist in the proper position for mousing. But after a few hours, when my wrist starts to hurt, the gel pad starts to feel like it's digging into my wrist. Then I know it's time to take a break, or I use the arrow keys. Honestly, nothing is going to heal the repetitive stress injury...it's just a side effect of being on the computer easily 10 hours a day. (All of our experiments are web-based.) This does help me feel more comfortable for longer.

I've been using the wrist rest for a few weeks now, and it's made a big difference. I have a desk job, and certain days I find myself using the mouse a lot. It used to be that my wrist started hurting by the afternoon, but I haven't had any pain since I got the wrist rest - here's hoping this continues to be the magic solution. I haven't used any other wrist rests, but this one is comfortable and seems durable.

I can feel my fingers again! Thanks for this lump of gel. It works great. And is still soft after months of heavy usage. But purple? Really? All my friends make fun of me when they come over and see my purple mouse wrist pad thing. I'll show them. I have to order purple drapes and paint the crown molding purple also, then they won't notice this thing as much.

Dopo anni di onorato servizio, sono stato costretto a cambiare il poggia polsi, quindi ne ho preso un altro identico, della stessa marca. Di ottima fattura e ben rifinito è l'ideale per alleviare eventuali problemi hai polsi, quando si digita sulla tastiera, oppure si usa il mouse, soprattutto se si usano per lavoro. Il gel al suo interno si modella adattandosi al polso. Molto utile, comodo e morbido.

This is honestly a re buy of this item after getting one 15+ year back. It has been extremely well used. The new one has been great comfortable on the wrist and makes my gaming and general use of the computer better for my in the long run. I definitely give the Fellowes brand and items my tick of approval and would recommend it to any one looking for ergonomic support when using a mouse.

Fini les douleurs au poignet durant de longues heures à travailler sur l'ordinateur. Malgré une souris ergonomique mon poignet n'était pas maintenu. Il m'est aujourd'hui d'un atout quotidien pour mon télétravail. Étant bien ferme il soutien et maintien bien le poignet droit en alignement avec la souris. Il est confortable. La matière en silicone est agréable au contact de la peau, il est doux. Le dessous de ce repose poignet est bien lisse il ne glisse donc pas et est antidérapant. Sa taille petite (taille un peu plus grosse qu'une souris) permet de le transporter facilement dans une sacoche lors de déplacement. Il est de très bonne qualité et supporte des petits coups d'ongles sans rayures. Il est aussi facile à nettoyer. J'ai fait l'acquisition de ce repose poignet en décembre 2020 et RAS il est toujours intacte comme quand je l'ai acheté. Je recommande donc ce petit accessoire de bureau indispensable !

How and if this will work for you depends how you use your mouse and where olyounpkace it on your desk. It's far too larger/deep for me because I like to have my mouse right at the edge of the desk. Having this pad, which is a couple inches deep, moves my mouse too far forward and is uncomfortable. I was looking for something small that would simply elevate my wrist a bit but this isn't it. That said, it is cooling and comfortable so if you use your mouse in a different position it might be perfect for you.
