Would the adapter make them the same brightnes** A: Yes, I noticed the same thing. It looks like they switched to LED’s. The new street lights require a 4.5 volt adapter instead of the 3 volt adapter for last years model. So… I had to purchase 4 new adapters as well. I’m not a fan of the LED’s bc the color of light. It’s too white & bright for me. **Q: Can you plug the lights into an outlet are they battery operated** A: This item requires 3 AA Batteries, But you can purchase a 4.5 AC/DC Adapter and plug that into it so that it can plug into wall. **Q: How tall are these?** A: 4 inches **Q: How far apart are the lights from each other?** A: I do not know for sure. I sent mine back.
