Yes: It can handle 11 speakers and two subs. No: It is not a11 channel receiver. You will need a secondary amplifier that will use the pre-outs to run all 11 speakers. The receiver itself does not have enough power to handle all 11 speakers at the same time. The secondary amp will power Surround Back Left and Surround Back Right. **Q: Are the two subwoofer outputs actually 2 channels or split from 1 channel?** A: There are 2 different rca connector outputs (Subwoofer 1 and 2) on the back panel of the receiver in the PRE OUT section. You can zoom in the rear panel picture to see them. You can plug in each one or both subwoofers. The receiver sends a mono signal through each output (not stereo), possibly delayed for a few fractions of a second depending on the distance of the subwoofers from the listening area and the MCACC Advanced or Dirac corrections. **Q: does it support 3d movies?** A: 3d go smooth with it **Q: Does this upscale 1080p/4k to 8k?** A: From our Pioneer Elite experts at ListenUp - No, this receiver does not upscale to 8k. It can upscale from 1080 to 4k. ## Frequently Bought Together - Pioneer Elite VSX-LX505 9.2 Channel AV Receiver - FosPower Banana Plugs 12 Pairs / 24 pcs, Closed Screw 24K Gold Plated Speaker Plug Connectors for Speaker Wire, Wall Plate, Home Theater, Audio/Video Receiver, Amplifiers and Sound Systems - Amazon Basics 16-Gauge Speaker Wire Cable, 100 feet, Bronze --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/360294956-pioneer-elite-vsx-lx505-9-2-channel-av-receiver](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/360294956-pioneer-elite-vsx-lx505-9-2-channel-av-receiver) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
