GD4002T 4-Burner Tailgater Grill and Griddle Combo, Portable Flat Top Propane Gas Grill with 40,000 BTUs Output for Backyard or Outdoor Cooking, Black

All parts seem fairly well made. Assembly was easy enough. This is a rather heavy unit (not that it is a bad thing), with much of the weight in the Griddle Plate, itself. Speaking of the Griddle Plate, that in combination with the 2 Grills, was why I chose this product. This unit can handle just about any cooking challenge - bacon/eggs/pancakes for breakfast; warming a pot of chili or grilling some hotdogs for lunch; and grilling chicken or steaks with some veggies for dinner. The unit arrived less one bracket for holding the Drip Pan to the Drip Tray. I called the Royal Gourmet toll free number for assistance. After submitting an email with all the pertinent purchasing and shipping information, and two images of the problem, I was FedEx-ed a new replacement Drip Tray complete assembly, received quickly and packed well. Excellent Customer Service! Thanks for that! I've been too busy with other Spring projects to prepare my first meal on this product. If I have the option to do so, I'll report back after the first 'test drive'.

We've had the Royal Gourmet for a few months now. You can tell by the "wear" that we use it fairly often. This morning lightening hit our house and we lost power. We'll I must have coffee so I got out the 'ole percolator and used the grill to make coffee. Not bad. This was my first time using the grill without my husband and I gotta say, it was very easy to operate. It makes fantastic burgers and brats and we are looking forward to taking it camping and trying baked potatoes. It is a bit of a chore to clean. The brown residue is left over burger, I tried to convince my husband to cook on tinfoil but he chose not to so we have residue. It has handles but takes 2 of us to transport and we use it on a cheap folding table. All together I would definitely recommend this grill.

Ignites really quickly. Nothing sticks to the griddle after a long camping trip with lots of cooking for 8 people. Really even heating on the griddle. Feels very quality built and the set up was very easy. I dont like that the griddle screws into the unit instead of sliding in, it makes cleaning a bit more challenging. But overall this is a REALLY good griddle / grill for the value.

Size and combo grill griddle is great. Drip pan and tray are both not a great fit. If you try to pick up the whole unit the flex of the frame allows the whole drip system to just fall right out. Silver tray that catches drips from both sides of the griddle and grill comes out but even more touchy is the small slide out black grease collector under the silver tray. Both could use some design change to allow them to be removed but not just fall out as this is a portable grill and someone could get hurt or just make a giant mess moving the thing especially while still warm

Works amazing. I needed a grill for camping, i was looking for something portable. Nice having the grill and griddle. Can put it on any surface top. I had mine of a plastic folding table. Highly recommend great pricing in my opinion.

I’ve been using this grill almost daily for several weeks now , and I think it’s great. Easy to clean and didn’t need seasoning like my old blackstone ( constant rust , never would season) . This grill was fairly easy to assemble but a little awkward. The slot for the grease pan is a little hard to find and the “fit” is a little loose. Overall this is a great grill , heats evenly and cooks great. After a few more weeks the surface of the griddle began to bubble up and peel off, it’s totally unusable now. After contacting seller (in China) for a product supposedly made in America, they agreed to send a replacement, in six months. I’m not holding my breath.

Worst item ever. The grease trap is terrible and unstable it falls out of the tracks and spills the grease. Also starts a grease fire.

Great. Bought it for rv trips. Perfect addition to gas burners on the outside kitchen. Replaced the hove with quick connect fitting and plug it into RV gas line. Compact enough to transport. Added foldable metal grill table and its great. I like having griddle at the camp site. Pancakes, eggs, fried rice, steaks… you can do it all

Love it! Works well. It has a large cooking surface and love the flat grill addition for breakfast food! We use it at the race track all summer! Great find! Well worth the money.
