If you have a young football fan in your house, this book is a must-have. Fantastic, full-color photos compel even reluctant readers to keep turning the pages. The lists are fun -- top 10 rivalries, top 10 big players, top 10 little players, top 10 coaches -- this book covers it all. Info is delivered in bite-sized pieces (paragraphs) in classic Sports Illustrated style. So glad this was under the Christmas tree for my kid this year.

I have 6 men in my house: 5 sons, ages 18, 16, 12, 8, & 6, plus my husband. This book was a birthday gift for my 12 year-old but every time I turn around another one of my sons, or my husband, is looking at it. It's great because it's not a book that you have to sit and read long written pages. There are 36 top 10 lists of different aspects of football, from best hairstyles to best rivalries. The boys quiz each other to see how many things on the lists they can guess. I even found myself looking through it and I don't even like football. One of the best parts of the book are the great pictures on every page, so when you're done reading all the lists you are left with a book of great picture memories of the game. Although the cover says it's from "Sports Illustrated Kids", I recommend this book for anyone with football fans in their home, young & old.

i bought this book for my 8 year-old son who is a huge NFL Football fan! He loves this book! It's a book with a bunch of facts and information on both past and present "Hall of Famers" within the NFL. It gives him memorable moments and plays from before he was even born, and has really helped him understand the history of Football along the way. There are such great pictures and he's still in shock at how different the helmets were in the 50's (Leather, barely any padding) to how protective, bulky and padded they're today!I highly recommend this book for any child and any adult. My husband and I have enjoyed it as well!

My 10-year-old son who loves sports has the baseball version of this book, so I got the football one for Christmas this year. He was so excited to see it! We've noticed that since 2011 (when the book was published), there are some changes to some of the records listed. However it is a great overall book.

My son is a football fanatic. He is also really into trivia. This is a perfect book for him. He has spent countless quiet hours reading and re-reading this book. It contains all sorts of interesting facts about various feats of football. We have purchased several copies of this book for his friends. Highly recommend it.

I bought this book for a Christmas gift for a nine-year-old boy who is crazy about football. It is quite simply fascinating. I purchased this book for my 11 year old son for Christmas, and he absolutely loves it. He is into sports of all kinds, and loves reading about stats, players, etc...It is a great book to keep in the kitchen/family room, as I am always looking for some interesting things to keep my children entertained without using electronics. He can easily pick this book up and read it for 10 minutes or 30 minutes, and he is really absorbed. Great book for a 5th grade sports enthusiast!

We bought this book for my son for his 13th birthday. We were wondering if it might be too "kidish", but not at all. There are tons of cool facts for kids, plus the photography was excellent. He couldn't put it down the first few days he had it. The entire family enjoyed it, an excellent choice for any football fan. Great Book!

This is a great book if you have a young NFL fan to buy for. We bought this for my son for Christmas last year when he was nine. He loves top 10 lists, facts and stats and most definitely the NFL. This book was a hit, and a year later, he still reads it.
