Nice floor scale
Arrived on time. Properly packaged. Appears to be accurate. Only minor concern is the battery life.

Buy!
I really like this. It's easy to use, was the size I needed (which was super important), and seems to be very accurate.

As advertised, quick ship.
Works perfectly for my husband who has to use a walker. He can walk onto it holding on to his walker, with the walker wheels outside. Huge help, thank you.

Accurate and inexpensive
I use kitchen scales for many things. Not many do. I'm the only one out of my 8 very close family households. I have one adult child who does occasionally use one. But, if you're here, you're looking for a scale, not a reason to use one. I'm going to reference the photo showing 3 scales. I use the large Taylor on the left for large amounts of ingredients for freeze drying (not necessary but I like to know my before and after weights - FYI, 10 lbs of food before FD is as little as 1 lb after), for sour dough, and those excellent recipes that use weights. I also use the large one for mailing packages. I've had that one for 5 years and it's still going strong. I bought it locally at a warehouse club. They don't have scales anymore. The small one on the right is an AMIR scale that I've used for about 3 years. I purchased it from Amazon. The price fluctuates but its about $11-14. I use it weigh tiny amounts. Mainly for sending packages under 8 oz and weighing g the contents of supplements. If you take supplements, do the math on the label, empty some capsules and weigh the contents. I have given up being surprised and shocked, and am now just appalled at the discrepancies. These 2 scales I use consistently are always within tolerances and they always agree. When it's tiny amounts, I trust the AMIR more than the Taylor. We also have a non digital Taylor scale my son still prefers to use to weigh the dogs' food, but I prefer the Taylor for that. We feed raw, so it needs weighed. I wrote all that to show I'm experienced with scales and we use them daily in our home. This scale, which is the one in the center in the picture, is larger than the AMIR and smaller than the Taylor looks great. If you want it for gifting, it comes in a box that shows what it is, not a plain cardboard box with a sticker or worse yet, a plastic pouch. For gifting presentation and wrapping, that matters. The scale weight tests I did alongside my other 2 battery operated scales shows this Houseables digital scale to be repeatedly and consistently accurate. At only $10, it's a great deal. I still prefer my AMIR because it has 2 hard plastic covers that both protect the scale and serve as dishes for weighing supplements or seeds. Obviously, I've had this Housables scale for less than a week and my others for years, so I can't say how it performs long term, but I like it.

Wrong dimensions advertised
The product itself is ok, but the advertisement is misleading because the actual dimensions are 17”x 21” and not 18”x21” as advertised.
