Xuniea 5 Rolls Fine Line Vinyl Tape, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 Inch, Blue

Very nice tape to work with. Great for taping and masking gentle curves for painting. The tape is made of a very strong plastic'ish' material, so repels water. The multiple sizes are a delightful find. The tape is just slightly stretchy, unless you are trying to tear it, then it deforms. This tape will not tear, it has to be cut.

Very aggressive tape, not that clean to bend. Might be good to use on other stuff but I don't like to use it to paint on cars or on cups. Feels like your paint is gonna come off with it.

This tape is terrific! The variety of widths allows you to do a lot of different tasks from very fine details to larger masking, and, with the exception of the very widest roll), curves incredibly well (the widest roll not curving as well is to be expected). I found that simply by keeping the tape taut I was able to do both very straight lines and really sharp curves, some more than 90°, and the tape stays down really well so paint doesn’t get under it. I’ll attach a picture of the Mandalorian helmet I painted using various rolls so you can see the different types of curves that I was able to mask up using only one piece of tape at a time (no need to cut the tape into shorter segments to try to make those complex curves work). All of the masking was done with this tape, from the gray line that runs the circumference of the helmet at the forehead to multiple different colors around the visor and cheeks. The bass blue coat wasonly layer of paint that was done without using this tape to mask off areas.

Used all of the different size tape in this pack to tape off and create custom panel designs on my motorcycle. It was my first time ever masking off a motorcycle and using it to create custom paint work. It worked really well to create the shapes I was going for. Just keep in mind it's vinyl tape so if you overly stretch it, it had a tendency shrink up after you lay it out. After learning the hard way, I started stretching less to avoid shrinkage. My only other grip with using this tape is that it did leave behind a residue when taking off the tape. I used wax & grease remover to remove it which worked ok but in some areas I did have to go over it several times to get rid of it all.

Awesome value for the money

I used this for a Mural that I did but when I removed the tape, it had a lot of paint that bled through. I had to go back over the color that I tried to cover, and it doesn't help that those colors were mixed so I had to try to mix the same tones all over again...costing me way more time than I estimated. The tape seemed to move or have moved or shrank from the original position that I placed it originally. Even though...the smaller roll of tape you use, the more flexible it can be but you still have to anticipate for movement so double check right before it's time to paint that it's still in position.

I’m very amateur when it comes to painting, but this tape made it easier worked well and I was able to create curves easily. It seems to be pretty durable and was a good value. I had purchased a different style that did not flex as much and I was not a fan. The vinyl is definitely the way to go.

Very good indeed. These tapes stop paint creep completely, which can easily occur under paper tape. The thinner vinyl tapes turn readily for creative shapes, again much more superior than standard tape. These are brilliant and very easy to use. Their tackiness is just about right. I noticed if you push them down very firmly adhesion increases markedly. Paper tapes can become difficult to remove if left masked up for several colour applications, over several days. They can even pull the paint. These vinyl tapes perform faultlessly and their performance remains constant, they don't degrade at all. My use of paper tape will drop markedly now to masking tyres when rim painting, admittedly in this regard paper tape works best. But in every other respect vinyl tapes are far superior.

I've been using these tapes with classes painting CO2 dragsters with acrylic paint and they are easy to apply, seal well at the edges and are easy to remove again.

Probably one of the best masking tapes I have used, brilliant for curves, easy and clean trims, great selection of sizes too.adhesion very good. Great buy.
