The only thing I don't like is the metal stand attached. You have to flip it up when it's hot to get full use to the curling iron shaft. I had an older type from Revlon that lasted 10 years which I liked better. It had a shorter shaft but it came with a silicon cover that was great for traveling with it. This one doesn't come with that (so I use the old cover but it's really too short for this one.) I have long thin hair and it's fine with that the ceramic coating is a bit slippery so if you had short hair it might be a problem but for me it's not a problem. It curls well, and it comes with a place to hang it on the wall.
