Absolutely amazing, well built and sound quality when size is a important.

I am slowly warming to smaller Bluetooth speakers as an alternative to only relying on top end units that make you almost weep when they are listened to - and purchased. Always scoffing at the smaller speaker, I have been pleasantly surprised at some of the smaller counterparts in both quality and price. This was bought specifically to bring a Christmas village to life with festive music and it worked like a charm. It arrived in an unusually large box with charger cable and instructions. The bluetooth works flawlessly and the micro SD/TF card slot makes it independent of a BT source too and once added, it created a great ambience for the village. Obviously the choice of music did not put it through its paces but trying some heavy 70s Jazz fusion and 80s funk bass lines through it - at volume - certainly did. It sounded surprisingly good and at volume, the speaker did have a life of its own. Taking off the protective film from the rubber feet helped suppress the movement though :-) Since Christmas it has been in a rucksack on travels and I find so much better than the inbuilt phone or tablet speakers. I am really pleased with it. Apart from the SD slot, there are basic functions for volume/mute and also selfie pic activation which could be handy for some. I think the packaging could be more practical...perhaps doubling up as a carry bag - as it does not have one. However, for the price I think it is a great buy - and I will be replacing it in a heartbeat if this one gets lost or damaged.

This is a great little device. I bought it for holidays and didn’t expect such volume from a tiny little thing. The sound is good and it’s super easy to use. My only gripe is that it’s not got a volume switch on the speaker, you have to use your phone to turn the sound up bd down

Brilliant wee speaker, connected fast. Sound quality is brilliant. Read that one of the reviews said that it travels across the table, this is correct but then realised that it has a wee film over the feet. As soon as I removed this, it didn't travel. Nice and small but big sound. Blue colour is nice. Good for the price as well. It's the size of a coffee pod.

I was surprised by this speaker. I thought it was going to be a bit naff but it's actually pretty good. For it's size it's lightweight and pretty loud. It has plenty of bass so not horrible tinny sounding. You aren't going to run a disco with this, but that's not what it was designed for. I bought it to use in a hotel room to get me in the party mood when I'm getting ready to go out. It sounds way better than my phone speakers. The main reason though was to use it while camping. I hang it from the chest strap of my pack when hiking so I can listen to pod casts I've downloaded to my phone. Depending where I am headed I will download information of the area so I get to learn from a sort of guided tour. It makes me feel more involved and closely connected to lets say a lake I'm walking around or mountain I'm hiking up if I can also hear more about it with every step I take. This speaker is also very handy for those who don't like to cut themselves off from the world with headphones or ear buds when out walking the dog etc. It's always best to be aware of your surroundings and other people to stay as safe as possible. That includes listening out for potential danger such as vehicles and people who might be coming up from behind either on foot or on a bike. I think that's about all I have to say so I hope I've been helpful in giving you some ideas on how to use it that you might not have thought about.

For a little speaker it's great. Perfect size for the handbag. Not top quality sound but you get what you pay for. For the price and Size, I can't fault it.

Yes I love it but they only last for about 6 weeks

Parcel arrived OK 👍, set up was a little tricky, the only issue was that I had to uninstall all my other Bluetooth devices to install the speaker, then reinstall them back. Sound is very good for a speaker of this size. Won't allow more than one smartphone at a time, if another person needs to use it they would have to use your phone. Would recommend though 👌

Small speaker with loud and big sound...deep bass and lasting battery

These incredibly tiny EWA speakers are amazing. I own both the A106 and A109mini. Not a paid for review. I got one of the EWA model A106 on a whim due to its sale price. I was intrigued to hear it because of its very tiny size, because it has a metal case, and because of the breakout photo that show it has both a DSP chip (sophisticated computer chip that lets the manufacturer better control the sound quality) and a passive bass radiator (which allows much more bass from small speakers). I was really amazed when it showed up. Very tiny, very heavy for its size, and the sound was better than most speakers 3 times the size. You can actually enjoy music on it as long as it is not too bass heavy. My friend was so impressed I had to give it to him for his trip to Spain. It is replacing an "Oontz" speaker that is much larger and this sounds almost as good. I decided to try the A109mini to replace my A106, and I like this A109Mini a bit better. NOTE, there is also an EWA model A109 which is larger and different from this A109Mini They are almost identical in size, weight, and sound quality. The 106 comes with a carry case and this A109 does not. However, the A106 has almost no controls on it. You cannot pause the music, or adjust the volume from the speaker. This A109 has a very handy multi-direction control switch that allows you to skip tracks, pause the music, and adjust the volume up and down. It has other functions as well that I have not tried, but I like not having to grab my phone to pause the music. I have not tried the TFcard playback, but if you want to use it totally without a phone that is a good option. The bluetooth on both the A106 and A109mini works great. I am very pleased and these little speakers really surprise every who sees and hears them.

Esta increíble esta mini bocina, la uso en la oficina a muy bajo volumen para no molestar a las demás personas que están a mi alrededor por eso opté por la EWA A109 mini, pero tiene muy buen volumen, no distorsiona a volumen alto así como buenos bajos y fidelidad. El diseño es perfecto.

Tolles Teil habs für meinen bruder zum geburtstag gekauft der leider das down syndrom hat. Einfach mp3 auf eine sd karte kopieren reinstecken und der lautsprecher spielt,der klang ist für den kleinen wirklich gut. Ich überlege für mich auch einen zu bestellen
